On June 26, golfers took to the greens at Nobleton Lakes for the annual Vast Auto Ontario Charity Golf Tournament.
This year, over 100 participants signed up to play at this picturesque course, north of Vaughan, Ont. The Kleen Flo team were the top scorers by the end of the day while Donna Collee was closest to the pin for the ladies, and Brian Banks was closest for the men.
The tournament also saw another $11,000 raised in support of High Fives for Kids, bring total contributions from the tournament to almost $70,000. High Fives for Kids Foundation Chair Ray Proulx, said that since it was established, High Fives for Kids has donated over $200,000 across Canada, providing support for charities helping kids that aren’t able to rely on government grands or subsidies.
“There is a lot of good work being done,” said Proulx and “we want to take this opportunity to recognize founder Ken Coulter for his vision, for the support we receive from AIA Ontario and also from Tony Del Vasto and Vast Auto. Thank you for making this possible.”
