Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has announced the release of its new high-performance ATE two-piece disc brake rotor, designed for popular Mercedes-Benz applications.

According to the company, this first-to-market product is equipped with an enhanced version of the same two-piece pot and friction ring construction present in the original, patented two-piece Mercedes-Benz design. Officially certified as a direct replacement for front axle rotors on the Mercedes-AMG C43 and E43, in addition to CLS and GLC models, the new product complies with OE specifications for fit, form and function. Continental also offers ATE replacement rotor applications suitable for popular E-Class models.

Continental has designed the ATE Two-Piece Mercedes-Benz Rotor for ease of installation. The product also features a plastic screw to avoid over-torque and a smaller fixing hole that ensures that the rotor is secured in place while a technician is installing it.

“Continental is first-to-market and the only aftermarket supplier of high quality, direct OE replacement for the Two-Piece Mercedes-Benz Disc Brake Rotor for high-performance Mercedes Benz applications. Our ATE Rotor also meets ECE Regulation 90, a strict testing protocol required for replacement brake parts,” says Dan Caciolo, Head of Product Management for Continental Independent Aftermarket Powertrain & Brake Systems.
