Raybestos recently announced it had delivered the Raybestos 1953 Chevrolet pickup truck to grand prize winner Charles Ruder.

Ruder won the truck at a special booth reception that was held at the Brake Parts Inc. (BPI) booth during the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, Nevada last year.

According to Kristin Grons, Marketing Manager for BPI, the truck has been delivered to Ruder and is now in its new home in Minnesota.

Brake & Equipment Warehouse in Minneapolis, Minnesota hosted an open house lunch for the occasion. Andrew Miller, Director of Sales for BPI; Steve Sontich, Customer Experience Specialist for BPI; and Grons together officially handed the keys of the upgraded classic truck to Ruder. Cheering him on were his family, friends, customers and members of the Minneapolis Fire Department who came down to see “Big Red” and meet renowned car builder Jeff Schwartz.

“The weather was chilly, but the sun came out and shone on the truck as we presented the classic icon to its new owner,” said Grons. “We congratulate Charles again and thank him for being a loyal Raybestos customer. We know he’ll enjoy cruising around town, showcasing his new ride.”
