Brake Parts has announced the appointment of Darwin Moen as Vice President of Sales, OE and OES.

Paul Ferrandino, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer made the announcement on March 20.

“We are very pleased to welcome Darwin to BPI as Vice President Sales, OE and OES,” said Ferrandino. “With over 30 years of sales experience, he has the knowledge, expertise and proven track record to lead this important market channel. In his new role, he will manage the sales functions required to generate revenue and help customers successfully grow their businesses.”

Before becoming a part of the Brake Parts team, Moen held the position of Vice President of Sales at Remy Power Products North America. In this role, he had several key responsibilities, including sales strategy and operations, program and team development, customer relations, category management, pricing and product placement, technical support and training, and the establishment and measurement of key performance indicators.

Moen’s career began in the Maytag Company where he worked upwards, gaining promotions to regional positions in Chicago, Los Angeles and Indianapolis. In 2004, he eventually moved to the company’s corporate headquarters in Newton, Iowa. He moved to its world headquarters in St. Joseph, Michigan when Whirlpool Corporation acquired the Maytag Corporation in 2006.
