Wakefield Canada now offers free on-demand exclusive training through Wakefield Connect.

In a release by the company, Wakefield Canada says that it understands the need for auto service shops to have top quality training today in order to build their reputation.

As per the 2018 Ipsos Reid Canadian Automotive Aftermarket Monitor, the quality of service, the business reputation and staff attention rate extremely high on the decision triggers of consumers when they select an auto service location. As a result, the company has developed a comprehensive turn-key training solution to meet this requirement.

Wakefield Canada’s free on-demand e-learning guides are available through its online platform Wakefield Connect. Staff members who work in shops that carry Castrol products have exclusive access to this training program.

The company’s learning guides are self-paced and flexible; techs may take the training anytime and anywhere. Wakefield has designed them to be concise, informative and engaging. To participate in the program, candidates may sign-up online and gain access to over 30 courses in both English and French.

“The e-learning guides we provide include a wide range of subjects from The Basics of Brake Fluids to Grease Fundamentals. We also work to keep current with subjects like CASTROL’s Fight Against Low Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI). With today’s ever-changing automotive technologies, it’s critical to keep frontline workers up to date and knowledgeable,” explains Ian Hutchison, Marketing Manager, Wakefield Canada.

The company also has promotional campaigns to reward users who participate in the program. Technicians who complete all available e-learning guides before March 31st will automatically be entered into a draw for a chance to win the cutting edge OneWheel+XR self-balancing electric skateboard.
