Tenneco has announced the launch of Monroe Magnum loaded strut assemblies for hardworking half-ton pickup trucks.
The eight newly launched part numbers provide potential service opportunities for 9.4 million vehicles. The parts are currently available in the marketplace.
The Monroe Magnum loaded strut assemblies for multipurpose, half-ton pickup trucks are designed to provide OE-style control and handling in addition to long service life, even when subjected to different load conditions such as towing, hauling, plowing or pulling.
Tenneco has engineered the strut assemblies with high-quality components that are required to maintain optimum ride characteristics and durability under a wide range of loads. These strut assemblies include a premium, gas-charged Monroe Magnum strut featuring 10-stage, acceleration-sensitive damping technology (most applications), chrome piston rod and PTFE-coated bearing; a variable-rate coil spring; OE-style upper strut mount and bearing; enhanced-design dust boot; and jounce bumper. The strut parts are developed and assembled in Tenneco’s U.S.-based ride control facilities.
“The Monroe Magnum loaded strut assemblies offer robust performance and long life to the hardest working trucks on the road,” says Alyssa Poore, Product Manager for Tenneco’s North America Aftermarket business. “Specifically built and engineered for the half-ton pickup truck that hauls everything from heavy-duty equipment to mulch, these Monroe Magnum loaded strut assemblies offer an enhanced ride profile and added control to help stabilize your load without compromising ride performance.”
The newly released Monroe Magnum loaded strut assembly provide coverage for several applications, such as the 2007-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2007-2016 GMC Sierra 1500, 2006-2018 Dodge Ram 1500, 2004-2013 Ford F-100/F-150, 2006-2008 Lincoln Mark LT and 2007-2018 Toyota Tundra half-ton pickup.
