The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance has promoted John Carlson (J.C.) Washbish to the position of Vice President, Marketing , effective January 1, 2019.
Washbish will be in charge of the marketing efforts for the Alliance, including promotions, branding, communications and events. Members of the Alliance Board of Directors were collectively involved in taking the decision to promote Washbish.
“Our entire Alliance Headquarters’ sales and marketing effort is coordinated to improve the competitiveness of all Alliance Shareholders. J.C. and his Marketing Team continue to develop methods to help us grow our market share! We are delighted to have him on our staff!” said Corey Bartlett, Chairman, Alliance Board of Directors. President and CEO of APH concurred with his statement.
The Alliance Aftermarket Jackpot Convention held in Las Vegas hosted over 3500 professional technicians during the 2018 AAPEX and SEMA Show events.
“J.C. oversaw every detail of our Jackpot Convention,” explained the Secretary for the Alliance Board of Director and Co-President of Hahn Automotive, Eli N. Futerman. “Following the Convention’s spectacular result, it was time to elevate his title to the position where he is playing!”
Washbish joined the Alliance as Director of Marketing in June 2016 and held this position till his recent promotion.
He brings a varied experience with him to his new role. Before becoming a part of the Alliance, J.C. Washbish served as an Account Executive with NGK Spark Plugs. He handled several major accounts in this role, including Pep Boys, Blain’s Farm and Fleet, Mills Fleet Farm as well as servicing NGK’s Caribbean market.
