UAP has announced the appointment of Jeff Van de Sande as the Senior Vice President of Altrom Auto Group, effective January 17, 2019.
The announcement comes days after Jeff’s resignation from his position as the President of Bestbuy Distributors. He had been a part of Bestbuy for 10 years.
Van de Sande brings 20 years of automotive aftermarket experience to his new role and according to a release from UAP, will lead a strong and experienced management team at Altrom Auto Group.
This team includes Dave Pawlowski, Vice President, Sales and Marketing; Paul Wilkes, Vice President, Operations; and, Robert Chartrand, Vice President, Product Development. Van de Sande will be working from Altrom’s Toronto office.
UAP officially welcomed Altrom Auto Group on January 1, 2019 as its specialized division for the distribution of automotive parts for European and Asian vehicles. Altrom Auto Group has worked towards creating a strong, recognized and respected brand over the last 45 years. It now represents a constantly-evolving segment of the automotive industry in Canada. The addition of this group equips UAP with four strategic growth pillars: automotive parts (NAPA); heavy-vehicle parts (TW, Traction, Cadel, Belcher); paint and body equipment (CMAX); and import car parts (Altrom Auto Group).
