Texte: Product specialist Cory Martin used recently launched Rein replacement parts to demonstrate how the CRP research and development team designs new products to solve specific problems, most notably for luxury vehicle brands.

“For example, take this belt, which drives an all-aluminum pulley. The OEM part is made of plastic and it tends to fray whenever it needs to be removed. Our replacement part is a much more durable component. The same applies to this transmission filter, this valve cover or this engine oil pan. Our goal is to offer an alternative to expensive OEM parts less durable than our products.”

According to Cory Martin, new vehicle weight reduction constraints have a direct impact on the quality of certain parts, which are constructed from lightweight materials that aren’t necessarily as durable.
