New triple-layer protection available in the first quarter of 2019.

The WIX XP line of cabin air filters made its debut this year at AAPEX. According to a company spokesperson, the new product offers three layers of protection since it eliminates odours, bacteria and allergens.

“That said, it still continues to flow six times better than our normal cabin air filter, and it will hold six times more contaminants than a hepa cabin air filter,” said the spokesperson.

Once it comes to market in early 2019, it will be available for about 50 percent of the models on the road today. WIX is starting with 27 SKUs, and plans to add to that as demand increases.
