New kits fit most makes and models of trucks, 2010 and newer.

ACDelco introduced a new line of brake components for full-size trucks and SUVs at this year’s AAPEX show in Las Vegas. The pads are designed to help withstand the high temperatures associated with braking when towing additional weight, and are equipped with mechanical locking systems that hold friction material in place to help with retention strength and durability.

The calipers have a black zinc coated body, and the rotors have specially designed venting s-grooves. “We chose s-grooves because we found that drilled rotors are more susceptible to cracking, if you get them hot enough,” said an ACDelco spokesperson. “The s-groove design is also much easier on the pads, whereas a drilled or slotted design could be very abrasive to the pads.”

Sever duty kits will be available in Q1 of 2019, or all makes and models Chevy, GMC, Ford, Toyota, RAM.
