Bestbuy Distributors Annual Buy & Sell in St. John’s, Newfoundland was ‘solid as a rock’! The September 16-19 event was a great chance for members to meet and network with valued vendors from all over North America.

Two days of successful meetings with vendors were highlighted with events—the Welcome Reception, annual SickKids® charity golf tournament and charity day tour, as well as a group “Rally in the Alley” dinner and outing on famous George Street.

The Rally in the Alley was a great event and raised some serious money through a surprise $20 George Street T-shirt auction that netted $5,100!!! Golf sponsorships and raffle sales raised more and all these monies will go to the Family Heart Centre at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children.

The Wilds at Salmonier River golf course was host to Bestbuy’s annual golf tournament. Non-golfers participated in the day tour which took the group on a guided trip enjoying the best of St. John’s, including lunch at Chafe’s Landing in Petty Harbour where the group bumped into local favorite Alan Doyle of Great Big Sea.
