Chicago Pneumatic has introduced the 1” Torque Limited Impact Wrench (CP7782TL-6) to help prevent against overtightening bolts when changing tires—the first on the market.

This new wrench is ideal for changing tires of medium and heavy-duty trucks, tractor trailers, buses, coaches and agricultural vehicles.

Yann Pasco, Global Business Development Manager for Vehicle Service, Chicago Pneumatic Tools says, “The CP7782TL-6 enables efficient torque level control by limiting the torque during tightening to around 370 ft. lbs. (500 Nm) in the forward direction. The operator can then simply finish off the tightening with a manual torque wrench.”

The 1” wrench also lets users save time as each and every bolt is tightened to the right torque giving the tire changer the right solution. The new 1” torque limited impact wrench is also convenient for users because they don’t need to change any of their working habits. To ensure high operator comfort, the CP7782TL-6 features an ergonomic D-handle with full teasing trigger.
