Vendors receive recognition for excellence to the industry.
On Monday, October 16, members of the aftermarket industry gathered at the BMO Club, BMO Field in Toronto, Ont., for the annual Uni-Select Bumper to Bumper National Supplier Awards.
In attendance was Uni-Select’s new President and COO Canadian Automotive Group, Brent Windom, representatives from Uni-Select’s National and regional teams, including Ontario and Quebec, as well as numerous automotive aftermarket supplier professionals. Also present was special guest, legendary CFL quarterback Damon Allen.
Having initially joined the CFL back in 1985 as a free agent with the Edmonton Eskimos, Allen wracked an impressive career until his retirement from the Toronto Argonauts in 2008. He is a four-time Grey Cup champion and also holds a number of CFL records. These include the greatest number of passing touchdowns in a regular season (394); the greatest number of pass attempts (9,138) the greatest number of passing completions (5,158) and the longest passing completion (109 yards).
With Uni-Select and Bumper to Bumper’s sponsorship of the CFL, the presence of Damon Allen was a great occasion for this very special Supplier Award event.
