On August 29, CARQUEST Auto Parts and WORLDPAC held their annual charity golf tournament in Ontario.

Taking place at the picturesque Springfield Golf and Country Club near Guelph, Ont.; the event witnessed a large contingent of aftermarket parts suppliers and vendors take to the course in the name of a good cause.

Out on the course, this year’s winners were for the longest drive, Katie Williams (Women) and Jeff Lee (Men), while Closest to the Pin winners were Lori Hook (Women) and Grant Ashe (Men). The lowest team score was a tie between the foursomes of Paul Craven, Tony Kuczynski, Scott MacKay and Brian Taylor and Mark Douglas, Gerald Haak, Jeff Lee and Justin Lesansky.

This year, all proceeds raised from the tournament went to Children’s Breakfast Clubs, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth. An outstanding $10,000 was raised during the event, with President and CEO Rick Gosling on hand to receive the cheque from CARQUEST’s Steve Gushie and WORLDPAC’S Jason Yurchak.

Since inception, this tournament has raised over $230,000 for charity.
