The 13th Annual Rocky Mountain Charity Golf Tournament took to the links at the prestigious and challenging courses of Stewart Creek Golf Club and Silvertip Golf Course in Canmore, Alberta on July 13. Over 172 golfers were on hand for the Uni-Select Network members and Supplier Partners mountain-setting golf event.
In speaking with Bob Chapman, Marketing Manager, Uni-Select Prairies Division/Pacific Sales Manager, Uni-Select Northern Alberta, he told us that this year the group will be raising funds for Prostate Cancer and ALS. To date, they have raised $239,443 for multiple charities i.e. Canadian Breast Cancer, Stollery Children’s Hospital, Rick Hansen Foundation, Canadian Red Cross and Fort McMurray Fire Relief. This year the Rocky Mountain Classic brought in $15,386.00.
The night before the golf event was the Welcome Reception and Calcutta Auction. Following the golf tournament, a dinner banquet was held at the Delta Lodge. Prizes for the day were given out then and a silent auction was held as well. A full day of golf and fun.
