The Crevier Group announced this week that it has acquired Trademark Oil, through one of its Ontario affiliates, Case ‘N Drum Oil. Trademark Oil distributes lubricants as well as lubricant equipment throughout Southern Ontario and the Windsor-Essex County region.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Trademark Oil, a company firmly established in the Southwest Ontario market, as the newest member of the Crevier Group family! Without a doubt, Ontario is the biggest market for lubricants in Canada, and it also happens to be the largest Crevier Group market, which plans to pursue its sea-to-sea expansion through various initiatives, including the acquisition of existing distributors,” explained Crevier Group President, Jean-François Crevier.
“Over the past few years, the Crevier Group has positioned itself as a major industry player in Ontario as well as in other Canadian markets. Their reputation and business culture, which mirror our values, led to this agreement,” expounded Trademark Oil President, Rick Dawson.” We can state without a doubt that the future of both our company and our customers is in good hands!”
This agreement is the third transaction of this type for the Crevier Group since April. Since April, both LPS Kenbec Lubricants and the Gaz-O-Bar network of service stations have also joined the family-owned business.
“This transaction is a logical step in our plans to expand across the Canadian market which began back in 2012,” pointed out Jean-François Crevier. “We continue our search for successful businesses with a loyal customer base, such as Trademark Oil, to expand throughout the Canadian market, while adding to our current offering to better meet the needs of our customers.”
The Crevier Group is a third-generation family-owned business, which has been expanding across Canada since 2009 through its Crevier Lubricants division.
