On April 27, members of the automotive aftermarket flooded into the Michelangelo Banquet Centre, 1555 Upper Ottawa Street in Hamilton, for the annual Hamilton Discount Auto Parts Trade Show.

CarCare Business attended and what an event it was. Not only was the show floor packed with vendor spaces; but the crowds just kept coming. By 7.30 it was virtually standing room only. Not only was there plenty of networking and business opportunities, but as befitting the venue, a true banquet style dinner and some enticing giveaway prizes.

Longtime members of Uni-Select; Hamilton Discount Auto Parts business partners Khal AbuDagga and Naji Arafat have developed a strong and deserved reputation for quality customer service and this was reflected in the comments we heard from attendees, including vendors and service providers.

During an interview with CarCare Business, Khal AbuDagga said that this year, in an effort to provide added value, the show opened purely with the vendor display space, with the dinner section opened up later in the evening. Many vendors appreciated the setup and reported brisk business at their booths throughout the evening.
