From April 19-22, John and Leah Cochrane of Cochrane Automotive, hosted a Spring Lindertech Training event in Toronto.
The Spring Lindertech Training was four days of instruction for Canadian technicians. The first three days were held at Cochrane Automotive (73 Chauncey Avenue, Toronto) and were hands-on events. The Saturday session, which took place at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1870 Matheson Blvd, Mississauga, Ont., covered logical diagnostics and Asian nameplate topics. Seventy-five attended this event, while 60 technicians took part in the hands-on sessions.
John and Leah Cochrane have worked very hard to bring mechanical repair information to Canada. They go to U.S. training sessions, find great instructors and invite them to their Lindertech “North” Technical Training events held twice a year. This event’s trainers were Ron Bilyeu, Scot Mana and John Thorton.
Each technician was given a loose-leaf book that covered all the sessions… 9,600 pages of the topics discussed with photos and charts… now that’s some “handout”! Each participant was also presented with a Certificate of Achievement. Most attendees said they would be back next year!
