Since 2007, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems have been mandated on new vehicles sold in the U.S. And Canada.

Schrader’s line of TPMS retrofit kits (displayed at AAPEX 2016) are designed for older vehicles not originally equipped with TPMS units.

The retrofit kit from Schrader warns the driver when tire pressure is too low and also shows corresponding pressure value for each individual tire, plus tire temperature via a LCD display.

The kit contains OEM quality radio sensors for all four wheels, plus a battery-operated display with wireless control. The sensors are also mounted inside the wheels, not externally on the valves as with some products.
