Are you and your team regularly reviewing your shop’s strengths and weaknesses? This should be completed by everyone in the shop three times a year.

Start with just two points of strengths and two points of weaknesses. As an example, don’t say “We have good customer service.” Identify exactly what makes it good and different from everyone else.

Define the weaknesses and lay out a solid plan with a target date for completion to correct them and turn them into a strength. When the entire shop’s Team gets involved in this exercise, then everyone is working together to make things better.

You are now developing and improving your “culture” within the business something which everyone can take pride in.
