Une Volt qui ne recharge pas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pour le premier article de 2021, pourquoi ne pas parler d\u2019un diagnostic fait sur un V\u00c9, question d\u2019\u00eatre \u00e0 la mode avec ce qui s\u2019en vient dans vos ateliers prochainement\u2009?<\/p>\n

Le v\u00e9hicule en question est une Volt 2012. Elle ne se recharge plus. Une v\u00e9rification des codes d\u2019anomalie r\u00e9v\u00e8le deux codes en lien avec le probl\u00e8me\u00a0: P1FFF (System Isolation\/Coolant level sensor fault) et P1FFD (Hybrid\/EV battery pack coolant level sensor circuit high voltage).<\/p>\n

Pourquoi est-ce que la charge ne d\u00e9bute pas\u00a0? La Volt a trois syst\u00e8mes de refroidissement\u00a0: un pour le moteur thermique et le chauffage du compartiment passager, un pour la batterie et un pour les composantes \u00e9lectroniques. Un capteur de niveau est install\u00e9 sur le circuit d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la batterie, pour s\u2019assurer qu\u2019elle ne va pas surchauffer s\u2019il n\u2019y a plus d\u2019antigel lors de sa recharge.<\/p>\n

Suivre la charte<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Passons tout d\u2019abord \u00e0 travers la charte de diagnostic du code P1FFD. \u00c9tape 1\u00a0: la charte nous demande de v\u00e9rifier si la derni\u00e8re version du programme est install\u00e9e dans Hybrid\/EV Powertrain Control Module 2 (HPCM\u00a02). Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une \u00e9tape tr\u00e8s facile avec les produits GM, et il s\u2019av\u00e8re que l\u2019auto est \u00e0 jour. L\u2019\u00e9tape 2\u00a0consiste \u00e0 s\u2019assurer que le niveau d\u2019antigel dans le circuit est ad\u00e9quat (c\u2019est le cas). Apr\u00e8s ces deux v\u00e9rifications visuelles, on nous dirige vers les v\u00e9rifications de la composante et son circuit.<\/p>\n

Le capteur fonctionne avec une alimentation 5 V et une masse. Premi\u00e8re v\u00e9rification\u00a0: on nous demande de d\u00e9brancher le capteur et v\u00e9rifier si la masse est bonne. Ensuite, on nous demande de v\u00e9rifier l\u2019alimentation 5 V. Pour cette v\u00e9rification, il faut mettre le v\u00e9hicule en mode service pour \u00e9viter que le moteur thermique ne d\u00e9marre \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 que le capot est ouvert.<\/p>\n

Ce mode d\u2019op\u00e9ration est activ\u00e9 en pressant sur le bouton de d\u00e9marrage du v\u00e9hicule pour quelques secondes, sans appuyer sur la p\u00e9dale de frein. Le circuit doit avoir pr\u00e8s de 5 V.\u00a0 Prochaine v\u00e9rification\u00a0: la r\u00e9sistance du capteur, qui doit \u00eatre entre 24 et 25,4 kiloohms. Si toutes ces v\u00e9rifications sont concluantes, on nous demande une derni\u00e8re chose avant de nous laisser bredouilles\u00a0: prendre un aimant, le passer pr\u00e8s du capteur et voir si la r\u00e9sistance du capteur change. Si elle change, on nous recommande de changer le r\u00e9servoir, car la flotte doit \u00eatre coinc\u00e9e. Mais dans ce cas-ci, elle ne l\u2019est pas. Puisque tout semble correct, quelle est la prochaine \u00e9tape\u00a0?<\/p>\n

Un fil sectionn\u00e9<\/strong><\/h5>\n

La description du code fait mention que le HPCM\u00a02 a vu un voltage trop \u00e9lev\u00e9 sur le circuit. Oui, un court-circuit au positif pourrait \u00eatre la cause, mais aussi un fil qui ne tient que sur quelques brins, et que le circuit coupe. Je d\u00e9cide d\u2019inspecter attentivement la couette de fils qui fait un 90 degr\u00e9s avant de se brancher dans le capteur.<\/p>\n

Avec cette v\u00e9rification, je me suis aper\u00e7u que le fil c\u00f4t\u00e9 masse \u00e9tait sectionn\u00e9 (le zigzag dans la photo), et qu\u2019avec ma manipulation lors de ma v\u00e9rification, le fil s\u2019\u00e9tait rebranch\u00e9 temporairement.<\/p>\n

Comme toujours, je vous invite \u00e0 lire attentivement vos chartes, mais aussi, \u00e0 chercher \u00e0 trouver les autres possibilit\u00e9s qui auraient pu causer le probl\u00e8me. Bon diagnostic\u00a0!<\/p>\n
