Ils comptent dans leurs \u00e9quipes des techniciens qualifi\u00e9s ou engag\u00e9s dans le processus de certification du programme de Comp\u00e9tences V\u00c9.<\/p>\n<p>Les propri\u00e9taires d\u2019ateliers consult\u00e9s font d\u00e9j\u00e0 des entretiens de base sur les v\u00e9hicules hybrides, mais ne touchent \u00e0 rien qui regarde le haut voltage. Ce qui va changer du moment o\u00f9 leurs techniciens seront certifi\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Signe de comp\u00e9tence<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous sommes un peu \u00e9loign\u00e9s des centres pour voir un gros volume de V\u00c9 dans notre atelier, explique Paulin Beaupr\u00e9, de l\u2019atelier LJA Plamondon de Saint-Raymond. Mais nous voulons nous positionner, avoir ce qu\u2019il faut pour faire le service et pouvoir nous afficher. Publiciser le fait que nous avons les comp\u00e9tences pour r\u00e9parer les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques, c\u2019est passer un message de comp\u00e9tence pour l\u2019ensemble de notre client\u00e8le.\u00a0\u00bb Il explique que le v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique est souvent la deuxi\u00e8me ou troisi\u00e8me automobile des m\u00e9nages et que les deux autres v\u00e9hicules, \u00e0 essence, l\u2019int\u00e9ressent aussi. Soulignons d\u2019ailleurs que la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 a retard\u00e9 tout le processus d\u2019\u00e9lectrification des ateliers ind\u00e9pendants.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Rivaliser avec les concessionnaires<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Les propri\u00e9taires de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques ont tendance \u00e0 retourner chez les concessionnaires pour leurs entretiens, explique pour sa part Benoit Lepage, propri\u00e9taire de BLepage Auto service de L\u2019Ancienne-Lorette. PHOTO Jean Rodier<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>L\u2019atelier est tr\u00e8s dynamique dans la vente de pneus, ce qui fait entrer dans ses baies de service un bon nombre de V\u00c9. \u00ab\u00a0En effet \u00e7a attire beaucoup de V\u00c9 r\u00e9cents, souligne M.\u00a0Lepage. \u00c7a nous permet, depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es, d\u2019offrir les services d\u2019entretien m\u00e9canique. Car il faut le dire, les freins, la direction et le syst\u00e8me de suspension sont \u00e0 v\u00e9rifier m\u00eame sur ces v\u00e9hicules, explique M.\u00a0Lepage. Et s\u2019il n\u2019est pas rare de voir des plaquettes encore bonnes apr\u00e8s 200\u00a0000 kilom\u00e8tres, sous nos conditions climatiques, il faut n\u00e9anmoins proposer l\u2019entretien r\u00e9gulier des freins aux clients.\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0M\u00eame chose pour les lubrifiants dans des moteurs d\u2019appoint qui peuvent passer des mois sans tourner sur les mod\u00e8les hybrides. Bref, tablette num\u00e9rique \u00e0 la main, ses techniciens font syst\u00e9matiquement le tour de tous les v\u00e9hicules qui se pr\u00e9sentent \u00e0 eux.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Une client\u00e8le particuli\u00e8re<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>La communaut\u00e9 des propri\u00e9taires de V\u00c9, certains iront m\u00eame jusqu\u2019\u00e0 parler de secte, se d\u00e9marque par sa grande connaissance de leurs v\u00e9hicules. Souvent plus \u00e2g\u00e9s que la moyenne, ils arrivent apr\u00e8s avoir consult\u00e9 des forums sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s et des sites internet avec une id\u00e9e claire, mais souvent erron\u00e9e, des probl\u00e8mes techniques et besoins d\u2019entretien de leur v\u00e9hicule bien aim\u00e9. Les V\u00c9 font maintenant partie de nos m\u0153urs et avec la volont\u00e9 de notre gouvernement de faire passer le parc automobile \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lectrique \u00e0 partir de 2035, le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne ne va aller qu\u2019en s\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rant.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Un d\u00e9fi parmi d\u2019autres<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Pour Martin Gilbert, propri\u00e9taire de l\u2019atelier M\u00e9canique auto D.R. de Saint-\u00c9tienne-de-Lauzon et m\u00e9canicien d\u2019exp\u00e9rience, l\u2019arriv\u00e9e des V\u00c9 ne repr\u00e9sente simplement qu\u2019un nouveau d\u00e9fi pour le march\u00e9 secondaire automobile qui en a vu bien d\u2019autres. \u00ab\u00a0Il faut prendre notre place, il faut \u00e9voluer, r\u00e9sume-t-il. \u00c7a tombe bien, je suis un gars de technologies. \u00c7a me rappelle l\u2019arriv\u00e9e des moteurs \u00e0 injection au sujet desquels les garagistes avaient tellement de craintes. Aujourd\u2019hui, personne ne voudrait revenir aux carburateurs.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>M. Gilbert parle d\u2019un apprentissage n\u00e9cessaire permettant d\u2019identifier les particularit\u00e9s des V\u00c9. Par exemple, le syst\u00e8me de climatisation sur ces v\u00e9hicules n\u2019est pas un luxe, mais une composante n\u00e9cessaire au maintien de la batterie qui m\u00e9rite un entretien sp\u00e9cifique. Il repr\u00e9senterait moins d\u2019un pour cent selon les ateliers avec lesquels nous avons parl\u00e9. \u00ab\u00a0Mais cet automne, nous avons r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que nous avons re\u00e7u trois fois plus d\u2019hybrides que l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re \u00e0 pareille date, constate Martin Gilbert. S\u2019adapter demande de l\u2019investissement et la comp\u00e9tence n\u2019arrive pas toute seule.
