Les choses ont bien commenc\u00e9 au premier trimestre, avant le d\u00e9but du COVID-19 qui a vu une chute de la demande en mars et avril.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis lors, nous avons assist\u00e9 \u00e0 une reprise, la demande ayant repris en mai et \u00e9tant rest\u00e9e relativement forte tout au long de l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 et pendant les mois d\u2019automne de septembre et d\u2019octobre.<\/p>\n<p>Comme le nombre de cas de COVID-19 a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 augmenter \u00e0 l\u2019automne en raison d\u2019une deuxi\u00e8me vague de coronavirus et d\u2019un plus grand nombre de fermetures r\u00e9gionales, la demande de nouveaux v\u00e9hicules a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 diminuer.<\/p>\n<p>Cela \u00e9tant, DesRosiers Automotive Consultants (DAC) a estim\u00e9 les ventes de v\u00e9hicules neufs de novembre 2020 \u00e0 128\u2009351 unit\u00e9s, soit une baisse de 10,4\u00a0% par rapport au mois pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u2009Il a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9vident que la reprise du march\u00e9 ne serait jamais en ligne droite\u2009\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Andrew King, associ\u00e9 directeur de DAC.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 quelques semaines seulement de la fin de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, le DAC pr\u00e9voit que les ventes totales de v\u00e9hicules neufs pour 2020 s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8veront \u00e0 un peu plus de 1,5 million d\u2019unit\u00e9s, ce qui repr\u00e9sente une baisse globale de 20\u00a0% pour l\u2019ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La demande diminue l\u00e9g\u00e8rement en novembre, le Canada devant faire face \u00e0 une recrudescence des cas de COVID-19.
