Tout se passe \u00e0 l\u2019estimation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>R\u00e9cemment, la Corporation des Carrossiers professionnels du Qu\u00e9bec (CCPQ) pr\u00e9sentait \u00e0 ses membres un aide-m\u00e9moire pour s\u2019assurer de ne rien oublier lors de la pr\u00e9paration de leurs estimations avant de les soumettre \u00e0 l\u2019assureur. Ce guide d\u2019accompagnement est solidement document\u00e9 et il est disponible aupr\u00e8s de la CCPQ.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Il est normal que vous soyez pay\u00e9s justement pour votre travail, r\u00e9sume Luc Fillion, conseiller sp\u00e9cial \u00e0 la CCPQ, qui a pilot\u00e9 ce dossier. M\u00eame les estimateurs d\u2019exp\u00e9rience peuvent \u00e9chapper des \u00e9l\u00e9ments. Le processus d\u2019estimation, surtout avec les voitures modernes, est tr\u00e8s complexe. Il faut se maintenir \u00e0 jour et savoir monter une estimation conforme et bien document\u00e9e si on veut se faire payer par l\u2019assureur.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Le maximum de chaque v\u00e9hicule<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Lors de r\u00e9centes rencontres Zoom avec ses membres, la CCPQ est revenue sur l\u2019importance, surtout en cette p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 les volumes ne sont pas au rendez-vous, de tirer le maximum de chaque v\u00e9hicule qui entre dans l\u2019atelier. On ne parle pas ici d\u2019ajouter aveugl\u00e9ment des frais, mais de s\u2019assurer que tout figure sur l\u2019estimation, incluant des \u00e9l\u00e9ments aussi importants que la calibration des syst\u00e8mes d\u2019aide \u00e0 la conduite.<\/p>\n<p>Pour accompagner les estimateurs des carrossiers, la CCPQ a mandat\u00e9 Nicolas labre, de la firme EvalAuto, et invite ses membres \u00e0 recourir \u00e0 ses services. Ce sp\u00e9cialiste peut analyser les estimations avant qu\u2019elles ne soient envoy\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019assureur. \u00ab\u00a0Nous validons au besoin, pour le carrossier, les estimations directement aupr\u00e8s des assureurs, ce qui lui enl\u00e8ve cette t\u00e2che de n\u00e9gociation\u00a0\u00bb, explique M.\u00a0Labre.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Un autre point de vue<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>EvalAuto finance ses activit\u00e9s en pr\u00e9levant un pourcentage sur les montants suppl\u00e9mentaires qu\u2019elle ajoute \u00e0 l\u2019estimation approuv\u00e9e par l\u2019assureur. Il n\u2019en co\u00fbte ainsi rien au carrossier si l\u2019estimation n\u2019est pas bonifi\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Luc Fillion, les carrossiers ne devraient pas h\u00e9siter \u00e0 faire appel aux services de validation de EvalAuto. \u00ab\u00a0Ce n\u2019est pas un jugement, c\u2019est une fa\u00e7on de se faire accompagner dans un processus complexe, explique le conseiller sp\u00e9cial. M.\u00a0Labre analyse tellement d\u2019estimations et a tiss\u00e9 des liens si \u00e9troits avec les assureurs qu\u2019il peut aider les estimateurs \u00e0 livrer les dossiers exactement comment les assureurs le souhaitent. Parfois, ce ne sont que de d\u00e9tails, comme la qualit\u00e9 des photos par exemple, que les estimateurs peuvent prendre en note pour l\u2019avenir.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Selon messieurs Fillion et Labre, le fait que certains \u00e9l\u00e9ments soient syst\u00e9matiquement ajout\u00e9s aux estimations va aider \u00e0 convaincre l\u2019ensemble des assureurs de les payer.
