Ce laboratoire vient s\u2019ajouter aux laboratoires de d\u00e9veloppement de moteurs \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 G\u00f6teborg, en Su\u00e8de, et aux laboratoires de batteries de pointe en Chine et en Su\u00e8de. Reprenant le r\u00f4le du moteur \u00e0 combustion interne dans l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie automobile, les moteurs \u00e9lectriques sont un \u00e9l\u00e9ment fondamental des voitures \u00e9lectriques, avec la batterie et l\u2019\u00e9lectronique de puissance.<\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9veloppement des moteurs \u00e9lectriques en interne permettra aux ing\u00e9nieurs de Volvo d\u2019optimiser encore davantage les moteurs \u00e9lectriques et l\u2019ensemble de la cha\u00eene cin\u00e9matique \u00e9lectrique des nouvelles Volvo. Cette approche permettra aux ing\u00e9nieurs de r\u00e9aliser des gains suppl\u00e9mentaires en termes d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et de performances globales.<\/p>\n<p>Les moteurs \u00e9lectriques permettent d\u2019obtenir des caract\u00e9ristiques qui font la r\u00e9putation des voitures \u00e9lectriques, telles que l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration instantan\u00e9e et la conduite dite \u00ab\u2009One Pedal Driving\u2009\u00bb, qui consiste \u00e0 utiliser l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer et d\u00e9c\u00e9l\u00e9rer, selon qu\u2019on appuie sur la p\u00e9dale ou qu\u2019on la rel\u00e2che.<\/p>\n<p>Le laboratoire de moteurs \u00e9lectriques r\u00e9cemment ouvert \u00e0 Shanghai est devenu op\u00e9rationnel le mois dernier.
