Trente minutes d\u2019essai routier et rien n\u2019est \u00e0 signaler.\u00a0 \u00c0 la prochaine \u00e9tape, on entre le v\u00e9hicule dans le garage pour faire une lecture des codes pour voir si on ne peut pas avoir une piste \u00e0 suivre vu les circonstances. Un code appara\u00eet\u00a0:\u00a0 P1111 <em>Cylinder pressure too high<\/em>.\u00a0 Assez vague comme titre, il faut lire plus.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Un code douteux<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Le code P1111 est enregistr\u00e9 quand le capteur de cliquetis (<em>knock sensor<\/em>) mesure des vibrations anormales lors de la combustion. Un code en historique, qui ne m\u2019inspire pas confiance pour l\u2019instant.\u00a0 Et, j\u2019aime vraiment vivre la source des plaintes pour avoir une meilleure id\u00e9e du probl\u00e8me que nous essayons de r\u00e9gler. Alors, j\u2019invite la cliente de rapporter son v\u00e9hicule quand le probl\u00e8me va \u00eatre plus omnipr\u00e9sent.<\/p>\n<p>Quelque semaine plus tard, le v\u00e9hicule est de retour, et l\u00e0, \u00e0 chaque essai routier, le probl\u00e8me se manifeste. Le code P1111 y est aussi. Une des choses que l\u2019ordinateur va faire lorsque l\u2019on d\u00e9tecte des cliquetis, c\u2019est d\u2019arr\u00eater la fonction du turbo en plus de limiter la puissance du moteur pour ne pas l\u2019endommager. Rien de pr\u00e9cis, il faut trouver avec de la logique. Alors, on part \u00e0 la chasse, qui n\u2019a quand m\u00eame \u00e9t\u00e9 pas trop longue. Dans ma premi\u00e8re v\u00e9rification, je constate que le niveau d\u2019antigel dans le r\u00e9servoir est plus bas que d\u00e9sir\u00e9, m\u00eame presque vide. Avec cet indice, je me lance dans la v\u00e9rification du joint de culasse (<em>gasket de t\u00eate<\/em>) et d\u00e9couvre qu\u2019il est bris\u00e9 sur le cylindre 2.\u00a0 Une petite fuite pas assez grosse pour cr\u00e9er des rat\u00e9s d\u2019allumage, mais assez pour chambarder la combustion sur ce cylindre en forte acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n<p>En conclusion, je dois faire mention d\u2019une chose. Cette cliente, comme de plus en plus de gens le font aussi, avait fait des recherches sur des blogues pour des sympt\u00f4mes similaires. Certes, la liste des pi\u00e8ces \u00e9tait longue, et si j\u2019avais accept\u00e9 de suivre ses suggestions, un mois plus tard le v\u00e9hicule aurait plusieurs pi\u00e8ces de chang\u00e9es et le probl\u00e8me y serait encore.<\/p>\n<p>Ayez l\u2019\u0153il ouvert lors de vos diagnostics, car quelquefois, l\u2019indice qu\u2019il vous faut peut \u00eatre droit devant vous!\u00a0 Bon diagnostic.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Steve Oborne est propri\u00e9taire, avec sa conjointe, Jennifer Gilbert, de l\u2019Atelier Oborne Service de Val-Joli.
