R\u00e9cemment nomm\u00e9e \u00e0 la vice-pr\u00e9sidence de la division du Qu\u00e9bec de l\u2019AIA, \u00c9lisabeth Lambert y voit un levier pour faire progresser le secteur secondaire de l\u2019automobile.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Copropri\u00e9taire de Pi\u00e8ces d\u2019auto Joliette, la m\u00e8re de deux enfants a go\u00fbt\u00e9 tr\u00e8s jeune au secteur automobile. La jeune \u00c9lisabeth, \u00e9tudiante en administration, fait des livraisons durant ses cong\u00e9s pour ce grossiste o\u00f9 sa m\u00e8re travaillait.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s ses \u00e9tudes, elle a travaill\u00e9 pour une institution financi\u00e8re et une entreprise agricole avant d\u2019int\u00e9grer Pi\u00e8ces d\u2019auto Joliette. \u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est un peu le fruit de hasard si je me suis retrouv\u00e9e dans ce secteur, explique Mme Lambert. J\u2019y suis entr\u00e9e sur une base temporaire en 2010 et n\u2019en suis jamais sortie. Mais je consid\u00e8re encore aujourd\u2019hui que j\u2019\u00e9tais \u00e0 la bonne place, au bon moment.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Les outils pour r\u00e9parer<\/strong><\/h5>\n

En v\u00e9rit\u00e9 Elisabeth Lambert n\u2019a jamais cach\u00e9 son int\u00e9r\u00eat pour le march\u00e9 secondaire, o\u00f9 elle percevait de nombreux d\u00e9fis \u00e0 relever. Aujourd\u2019hui, avec Guy Robillard et son fr\u00e8re Jean, elle dirige une entreprise prosp\u00e8re qui navigue dans un contexte d\u2019incertitude provoqu\u00e9 par la pand\u00e9mie. \u00ab\u00a0Il faut \u00eatre flexible, mais la bonne nouvelle pour nous tous c\u2019est que les gens vont fort probablement garder leur voiture plus longtemps puisqu\u2019ils h\u00e9sitent \u00e0 s\u2019engager dans des versements pour un v\u00e9hicule neuf\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e9value-t-elle.<\/p>\n

Selon elle, l\u2019industrie fait face \u00e0 l\u2019important d\u00e9fi de la technologie. Le volet formation, pour lequel elle s\u2019est engag\u00e9e, est primordial aujourd\u2019hui pour s\u2019assurer que les ateliers ind\u00e9pendants peuvent r\u00e9parer les syst\u00e8mes les plus sophistiqu\u00e9s des v\u00e9hicules qui leur sont confi\u00e9s. La rel\u00e8ve, engagement qu\u2019elle a pris aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Patrick St-Pierre \u00e0 l\u2019AIA Qu\u00e9bec, est \u00e9galement un enjeu majeur. \u00ab\u00a0Cela passe par l\u2019attrait de nouveaux talents, explique-t-elle. Mon r\u00f4le \u00e0 l\u2019AIA Qu\u00e9bec sera de poursuivre mon travail pour attirer la rel\u00e8ve en lui montrant que le march\u00e9 secondaire offre des postes diversifi\u00e9s et stimulants qui vont leur permettre de progresser dans leur carri\u00e8re.\u00a0Je crois aussi que les ateliers doivent avoir acc\u00e8s aux donn\u00e9es des v\u00e9hicules afin qu\u2019ils puissent les r\u00e9parer correctement. C\u2019est un dossier important pour l\u2019AIA et pour toute l\u2019industrie. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Une place pour l\u2019engagement<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Touch\u00e9e par sa nomination au poste de vice-pr\u00e9sidente de la division du Qu\u00e9bec de l\u2019AIA Canada \u00c9lisabeth Lambert y voit le prolongement de son engagement et une illustration claire que les femmes peuvent trouver leur place dans cette industrie.<\/p>\n

Elle voit dans l\u2019AIA et sa division du Qu\u00e9bec une plateforme de toute premi\u00e8re importance qui permet de construire un r\u00e9seau solide et la diffusion des meilleures pratiques. Elle souhaite aussi pousser sa contribution pour int\u00e9resser les ateliers en trouvant les meilleures fa\u00e7ons de les rejoindre. Elle se r\u00e9jouit d\u2019ailleurs de la pr\u00e9sence de deux repr\u00e9sentants d\u2019ateliers de m\u00e9canique au sein du Comit\u00e9 d\u2019administration de l\u2019AIA.<\/p>\n
