Volvo a re\u00e7u l\u2019approbation d\u2019une tierce partie pour son plan d\u2019action climatique, l\u2019un des plus ambitieux de l\u2019industrie automobile.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le plan climatique, dans le cadre duquel Volvo s\u2019efforce de devenir une entreprise climatiquement neutre d\u2019ici 2040, a \u00e9t\u00e9 v\u00e9rifi\u00e9 scientifiquement par l\u2019initiative \u00ab\u2009Science Based Targets\u2009\u00bb (SBTi), un groupe qui offre aux entreprises une voie claire pour soutenir l\u2019accord de Paris.<\/p>\n

Selon la SBTi, les objectifs de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de Volvo Cars sont conformes aux niveaux de r\u00e9duction du carbone requis pour limiter le r\u00e9chauffement climatique \u00e0 bien moins de 2\u00a0\u00b0C par rapport aux niveaux pr\u00e9industriels.<\/p>\n

Dans son processus de validation, le SBTi pr\u00e9cise dans quelle mesure et \u00e0 quelle vitesse les entreprises individuelles doivent r\u00e9duire leurs \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre afin d\u2019atteindre les ambitions d\u00e9finies dans l\u2019accord de Paris.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u2009En tant que fournisseur de mobilit\u00e9, nous faisons partie du probl\u00e8me du changement climatique, mais nous pouvons aussi faire partie de la solution\u2009\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Hanna Fager, responsable des fonctions d\u2019entreprise chez Volvo Cars. \u00ab\u2009Nous avons la responsabilit\u00e9 d\u2019agir. C\u2019est pourquoi la r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de carbone est la priorit\u00e9 de notre entreprise. Le fait que nos ambitions climatiques soient valid\u00e9es par SBTi nous donne une pr\u00e9cieuse assurance que nous sommes sur la bonne voie\u2009\u00bb.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9voil\u00e9 l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, le plan climatique global de Volvo Cars porte sur les \u00e9missions de carbone de l\u2019ensemble de ses activit\u00e9s et de ses produits, dans la perspective de sa vision de devenir carboneutre d\u2019ici 2040.<\/p>\n

Le plan va au-del\u00e0 de la lutte contre les \u00e9missions d\u2019\u00e9chappement par l\u2019\u00e9lectrification\u2009; la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 s\u2019attaquera \u00e9galement aux \u00e9missions de carbone dans son r\u00e9seau de fabrication et ses activit\u00e9s plus larges, sa cha\u00eene d\u2019approvisionnement et par le recyclage et la r\u00e9utilisation des mat\u00e9riaux.<\/p>\n

Comme premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape tangible vers sa vision de 2040, l\u2019entreprise vise \u00e0 r\u00e9duire de 40\u00a0% son empreinte carbone sur le cycle de vie par voiture d\u2019ici 2025.<\/p>\n

Le plan comprend les ambitions suivantes\u00a0: une r\u00e9duction de 50\u00a0% des \u00e9missions d\u2019\u00e9chappement par voiture, une r\u00e9duction de 25\u00a0% par voiture des \u00e9missions de carbone op\u00e9rationnelles, y compris celles provenant de la fabrication et de la logistique, et une r\u00e9duction de 25\u00a0% par voiture des \u00e9missions de carbone de la cha\u00eene d\u2019approvisionnement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
