Ces types de pare-chocs sont dot\u00e9s de protections flexibles en polyur\u00e9thane thermodurci. PHOTO Polyvance<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Selon Kurt Lammon de Polyvance, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1981 sous le nom de Urethane Supply Company pour s&rsquo;occuper des r\u00e9parations sur ce type de pare-chocs, un facteur cl\u00e9 concernant le plastique de polyur\u00e9thane est qu&rsquo;il ne peut pas \u00eatre fondu, ni par un soudeur de plastique \u00e0 l&rsquo;azote utilis\u00e9 pour effectuer la r\u00e9paration. M. Lammon recommande plut\u00f4t d&rsquo;utiliser un soudeur de plastique sans air, la baguette de soudure \u00e9tant utilis\u00e9e comme colle thermofusible pour effectuer la r\u00e9paration. Cela signifie que si la baguette est fondue, le plastique de base ne l&rsquo;est pas, un peu comme le brasage lors de la r\u00e9paration d&rsquo;un m\u00e9tal.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Tr\u00e8s robuste<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Lorsque le soudeur est correctement r\u00e9gl\u00e9 sur le r\u00e9glage PUR, la baguette de soudure doit sortir de l&#8217;embout sous forme de liquide clair. En pla\u00e7ant l&#8217;embout \u00e0 souder l\u00e9g\u00e8rement au-dessus de la surface du plastique et en cr\u00e9ant une rainure en V dans le plastique pour permettre \u00e0 la baguette de couler dans la rainure, vous obtenez une r\u00e9paration tr\u00e8s solide et robuste.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;astuce consiste \u00e0 ajouter la canne mais \u00e0 s&rsquo;attarder trop longtemps sur la surface du couvercle du pare-chocs car une chaleur trop importante la d\u00e9formera.<\/p>\n<p>Pour ce genre de r\u00e9paration, m\u00eame si les soudures &#8211; si elles sont bien faites &#8211; sont extr\u00eamement r\u00e9sistantes, il faut g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement appliquer une couche de mastic souple sur la soudure car elle ne s&rsquo;amincit pas bien lors du pon\u00e7age.
