C\u2019est une petite ville qui offre de grandes choses, de l\u2019aventure en plein air aux arts et au design, en passant par la grande cuisine\u2009\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u2009Nous sommes ravis que Volkswagen ait donn\u00e9 \u00e0 son v\u00e9hicule utilitaire sport le nom de la ville de Taos\u2009\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Dan Barrone, maire de Taos. \u00ab\u2009C\u2019est une excellente occasion pour notre communaut\u00e9 de partager sa riche histoire et sa culture aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Volkswagen\u2009\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>La ville de Taos compte 6\u2009000 habitants et se targue d\u2019une histoire de 400 ans et d\u2019une communaut\u00e9 am\u00e9rindienne vieille de 1\u2009000 ans \u00e0 quelques kilom\u00e8tres du centre-ville. Elle se distingue par sa communaut\u00e9 d\u2019artistes, sa station de ski de classe mondiale et ses paysages \u00e9poustouflants, dont de vastes plaines, les montagnes du Sangre de Cristo et les gorges du Rio Grande.<\/p>\n<p>Soit dit en passant, Taos \u00e9tait aussi le lieu de r\u00e9sidence de John Muir, un ing\u00e9nieur devenu m\u00e9canicien et auteur de \u00ab\u2009How To Keep Your Volkswagen Alive : A Manual of Step-by-Step procedures for the Compleat Idiot \u00bb (Comment maintenir votre Volkswagen en vie\u00a0: manuel de proc\u00e9dures \u00e9tape par \u00e9tape pour l\u2019idiot complet).
