Dans un communiqu\u00e9 de presse \u00e9mis r\u00e9cemment, le club d\u2019achat Automatix.ca, qui permet d\u2019arrimer acheteurs potentiels \u00e0 un groupe de concessionnaires, vient corroborer ce que plusieurs concessionnaires nous ont t\u00e9moign\u00e9 au cours des derniers mois, \u00e0 savoir qu\u2019Internet est devenu la porte d\u2019entr\u00e9e d\u2019une partie croissante de leurs op\u00e9rations commerciales.<\/p>\n
Entre le 6 mai et le 6 juillet dernier, 25\u00a0000 acheteurs potentiels de v\u00e9hicules neufs sont pass\u00e9s par la plateforme Automatix.ca pour enregistrer 7000 demandes de transactions, le tout repr\u00e9sentant une valeur de 200 millions de dollars.<\/p>\n
Lanc\u00e9e il y a cinq ans, cette plateforme permet aux consommateurs de limiter leur tourn\u00e9e des concessionnaires en pr\u00e9magasinant leur v\u00e9hicule neuf en ligne en soumettant une seule demande qui sera achemin\u00e9e au nombre de concessionnaires qu\u2019ils souhaitent et qui en retour leur soumettront une proposition par courriel et message texte.<\/p>\n
\u00ab\u00a0Notre mission est de rendre l\u2019op\u00e9ration plus simple pour le consommateur, explique Louis Massicotte, pr\u00e9sident de Mass-M\u00e9dia Capitale, qui pilote cette plateforme, lors d\u2019une entrevue avec Autosphere.<\/p>\n
Mais nous travaillons aussi pour l\u2019industrie automobile. Par exemple, nous ne voulons pas de guerre de prix et demandons aux acheteurs potentiels d\u2019indiquer une mensualit\u00e9 souhait\u00e9e. \u00c7a donne une marge de man\u0153uvre aux concessionnaires.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
La plateforme repose sur une s\u00e9lection de concessionnaires, par constructeur et par r\u00e9gion. Une approche qui veut limiter le nombre \u00e0 deux concessionnaires par constructeur pour chaque r\u00e9gion du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n
M. Massicotte veut contr\u00f4ler la qualit\u00e9 de ces concessionnaires pour en faire un club VIP. Il resterait environ le tiers des places disponibles pour ces marchands dans certaines r\u00e9gions du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n
Ce qui est int\u00e9ressant avec cette plateforme d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e au Qu\u00e9bec et brevet\u00e9e ici et aux \u00c9tats-Unis est qu\u2019elle permet aux concessionnaires d\u2019acc\u00e9der aux recherches des Internautes.<\/p>\n
Un client potentiel prend en moyenne 142 secondes pour remplir et envoyer une demande qui stipule la voiture convoit\u00e9e et le budget mensuel disponible.<\/p>\n
Outre les concessionnaires vis\u00e9s directement par la recherche, un concessionnaire d\u2019un autre constructeur pourra aussi soumettre une proposition pour une voiture semblable d\u2019une autre marque.<\/p>\n
La possibilit\u00e9 de pr\u00e9senter une alternative au consommateur est int\u00e9ressante lorsque l\u2019on sait que dans 60 % le consommateur n\u2019optera pas pour son premier choix.<\/p>\n

Il ne fait aucun doute que les autres plateformes Internet qui mettent en vitrine des voitures neuves ont connu un grand succ\u00e8s en p\u00e9riode de confinement. Selon M. Massicotte, de plus en plus de gens sont \u00e0 l\u2019aise d\u2019acheter une voiture qu\u2019ils n\u2019ont jamais essay\u00e9e.<\/p>\n
Il pr\u00e9conise m\u00eame la livraison de la voiture directement chez le consommateur avec une possibilit\u00e9 pour ce dernier d\u2019effectuer un retour si le v\u00e9hicule ne lui convient pas apr\u00e8s une semaine.<\/p>\n
