Deux mois apr\u00e8s son entr\u00e9e en fonction en tant que nouveau PDG d’Audi, Markus Duesmann met en place une unit\u00e9 pour le d\u00e9veloppement acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 de mod\u00e8les automobiles suppl\u00e9mentaires.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le chef du projet de haute technologie \u00ab\u00a0Artemis\u00a0\u00bb sera Alex Hitzinger, ing\u00e9nieur en chef de sport automobile \u00e0 succ\u00e8s et actuellement responsable de la conduite autonome au sein du groupe.<\/p>\n

Il travaillera avec une \u00e9quipe d’experts en automobile et en technologie pour – dans un premier temps – \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9velopper rapidement et sans bureaucratie un mod\u00e8le pionnier pour Audi\u00a0\u00bb, d\u00e9clare M. Duesmann. Les ressources et les technologies de l’ensemble du groupe Volkswagen sont potentiellement disponibles pour cela.<\/p>\n

M. Duesmann et ses coll\u00e8gues du groupe Volkswagen attendent \u00e9galement du projet \u00ab\u00a0Artemis\u00a0\u00bb qu’il fournisse un mod\u00e8le pour le d\u00e9veloppement agile futur des voitures dans l’ensemble du groupe Volkswagen.<\/p>\n

Les marques du groupe Volkswagen sont synonymes d’excellentes technologies et ont un potentiel pour bien plus encore, avec 75 mod\u00e8les \u00e9lectriques pr\u00e9vus d’ici 2029, l’initiative \u00e9lectrique actuelle du groupe Volkswagen lie naturellement toutes nos capacit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Nouvelles technologies<\/strong><\/h5>\n

L’\u00e9quipe du projet b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiera d’une grande libert\u00e9 et travaillera dans le monde entier, du centre de haute technologie du campus d’Ingolstadt \u00e0 la c\u00f4te ouest des \u00c9tats-Unis. Les services num\u00e9riques seront fournis par la propre unit\u00e9 du groupe, car.Software.org, qui est \u00e9galement bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Ingolstadt.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Artemis\u00a0\u00bb se concentrera sur les nouvelles technologies pour la conduite \u00e9lectrique, hautement automatis\u00e9e, avec une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de mod\u00e8le sp\u00e9cifique. Sa premi\u00e8re t\u00e2che est de cr\u00e9er une voiture \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 haut rendement qui devrait \u00eatre mise en circulation d\u00e8s 2024.<\/p>\n

L’\u00e9quipe cr\u00e9ative d\u00e9veloppera \u00e9galement un vaste \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me autour de la voiture, concevant ainsi un nouveau mod\u00e8le commercial pour toute la phase d’utilisation.<\/p>\n

Alex Hitzinger sera \u00e0 la t\u00eate du projet \u00ab\u00a0Artemis\u00a0\u00bb, sous la responsabilit\u00e9 directe de Markus Duesmann \u00e0 partir du 1er juin 2020.<\/p>\n

Hitzinger \u00e9tait jusqu’\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent membre du conseil d’administration pour le d\u00e9veloppement technique chez Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, ainsi que vice-pr\u00e9sident senior du groupe Volkswagen en charge de la conduite autonome.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0J’appr\u00e9cie Alex Hitzinger pour ses atouts en mati\u00e8re d’innovation et de mise en \u0153uvre. Nous avons besoin de ces deux qualit\u00e9s pour r\u00e9aliser des avanc\u00e9es technologiques majeures\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le PDG d’Audi, M. Duesmann, qui est \u00e9galement responsable de la recherche et du d\u00e9veloppement au sein du groupe Volkswagen.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Je m’appuie \u00e9galement sur son expertise pour int\u00e9grer les r\u00e9alisations futures dans les nouveaux produits, en collaboration avec les services de d\u00e9veloppement des grandes marques de notre groupe. \u00c0 moyen terme, j’attends d'\u00a0\u00bbArtemis\u00a0\u00bb qu’il fournisse un mod\u00e8le de processus de d\u00e9veloppement rapide et agile au sein du groupe, aussi agile que dans une \u00e9quipe de course\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Hitzinger a commenc\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re automobile en tant qu’ing\u00e9nieur de d\u00e9veloppement chez Toyota Motorsport.<\/p>\n

Chez Ford\/Cosworth, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 le plus jeune ing\u00e9nieur en chef du d\u00e9veloppement en Formule 1. Sous sa direction, le premier moteur de Formule 1 avec une plage de vitesse allant jusqu’\u00e0 20 000 tr\/min a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 2006.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s Red Bull Technology, Hitzinger a rejoint le groupe Volkswagen pour la premi\u00e8re fois et a mis sur pied chez Porsche l’\u00e9quipe de sport automobile qui a remport\u00e9 les 24 heures du Mans et le championnat du monde d’endurance de 2015 \u00e0 2017.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s trois ans chez Apple dans la Silicon Valley, o\u00f9 il a mis en place et g\u00e9r\u00e9 le d\u00e9veloppement de produits pour les v\u00e9hicules autonomes, Hitzinger est revenu au groupe Volkswagen en 2019 pour d\u00e9velopper la conduite autonome et l’ID.
