Comme l\u2019\u00e9lection d\u2019un Pape, c\u2019est avec f\u00e9brilit\u00e9 que le changement de capitaine \u00e9tait attendu.<\/strong><\/p>\n

S<\/span>i la CSDM avait dans la mire le dauphin de Serge Gauthier, personne n\u2019avait l\u2019assurance avant le premier juillet que c\u2019est bien Mario H\u00e9roux qui prendrait les commandes de l\u2019\u00c9M\u00c9MM.<\/p>\n

Ainsi s\u2019est-il install\u00e9 en ce jour dans le si\u00e8ge directorial de la plus grande \u00e9cole des m\u00e9tiers de l\u2019\u00e9quipement motoris\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec, parachut\u00e9 pourrait-on dire de l\u2019\u00c9cole des m\u00e9tiers de l\u2019a\u00e9rospatiale de Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

Aussi impressionnant que soit le saut, il est ce que l\u2019industrie pourrait tenir pour un cadeau du ciel, puisqu\u2019il y a atterri avec le bagage exceptionnel d\u2019un directeur plus que d\u2019avant-garde.<\/p>\n

Ouverture et innovation<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00c0 l\u2019aube de la nouvelle d\u00e9cennie, il est appropri\u00e9 que l\u2019\u00c9M\u00c9MM ait maintenant un dirigeant issu d\u2019un secteur technologique du plus haut niveau.<\/p>\n

N\u00e9 d\u2019un p\u00e8re qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 m\u00e9canicien et conseiller technique, Mario H\u00e9roux s\u2019estime privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 d\u2019\u00eatre cette fois au coeur de ce qui est d\u00e9terminant pour un transport terrestre fiable et s\u00e9curitaire.<\/p>\n

Il n\u2019a donc pas tard\u00e9 \u00e0 appliquer graduellement l\u2019approche partenariale qu\u2019il avait d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e avec les Bombardier, H\u00e9roux-Devtek, CAE, Pratt & Whitney, et Siemens, notamment.<\/p>\n

Une approche qui est fond\u00e9e sur l\u2019ouverture, l\u2019adaptabilit\u00e9, la flexibilit\u00e9, le transfert de connaissances, l\u2019innovation et une communication fluide et directe entre eux et l\u2019\u00e9cole.<\/p>\n

Nouveaux AEP et DEP<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quant \u00e0 son cadre, il le veut align\u00e9 sur les exigences les plus pointues des employeurs, pr\u00eat, dit-il, \u00e0 se soumettre aux trois ans \u00e0 un audit de la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019enseignement semblable \u00e0 celui de l\u2019\u00c9MAM.<\/p>\n

Si l\u2019ISO est la norme de gestion industrielle et commerciale par excellence, il n\u2019y a aucune raison pour qu\u2019un centre de formation de pointe ne r\u00e9ponde pas aux crit\u00e8res internationaux.<\/p>\n

Sit\u00f4t arriv\u00e9, sit\u00f4t impliqu\u00e9 d\u2019ailleurs dans la mise \u00e0 niveau du cours de m\u00e9canique automobile, dont il s\u2019attend surtout \u00e0 ce qu\u2019il soit en vigueur dans 18 mois, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire avant d\u2019\u00eatre d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9pass\u00e9, dit-il.<\/p>\n

Mario H\u00e9roux se r\u00e9jouit en outre que d\u00e8s janvier l\u2019\u00c9M\u00c9MM offrira en exclusivit\u00e9 deux formations sur l\u2019entretien des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques, qu\u2019il tient pour des compl\u00e9ments indispensables du DEP.<\/p>\n

Partage et enrichissement<\/strong><\/p>\n

Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un cours d\u2019initiation de 105 heures aux technologies qui leur sont propres, et du nouvel AEP de 645 heures appel\u00e9 M\u00e9canique des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques.<\/p>\n

Il piaffe d\u2019impatience \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e \u00ab d\u2019exporter \u00bb cette Attestation d\u2019\u00e9tudes professionnelles dans le r\u00e9seau des CFP consacr\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019automobile, ainsi que dans celui des CPA.<\/p>\n

Ce nouvel AEP est une initiative de l\u2019\u00c9M\u00c9MM men\u00e9e avec le CPA Montr\u00e9al et la Table de concertation sur les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques, \u00e0 laquelle se sont greff\u00e9es des commissions scolaires.<\/p>\n

Dans la m\u00eame optique, il compte \u00e9galement optimiser, sinon augmenter la cadence du transfert technologique r\u00e9sultant des sessions de perfectionnement tenues par les constructeurs.<\/p>\n

Olympien de nature<\/strong><\/p>\n

Il ne faut donc pas se surprendre d\u2019apprendre de plus que l\u2019\u00c9M\u00c9MM formera incessamment les techniciens diesel de VIA Rail, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un cours comportant 80 % de pratique.<\/p>\n
