{"id":64038,"date":"2020-01-14T00:01:53","date_gmt":"2020-01-14T05:01:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autosphere.ca\/?p=64038"},"modified":"2020-11-13T13:28:31","modified_gmt":"2020-11-13T18:28:31","slug":"le-portrait-du-marche-par-romans-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/autosphere.ca\/fr\/carrosserie\/2020\/01\/14\/le-portrait-du-marche-par-romans-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Le portrait du march\u00e9 par Romans Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Pour une 13<sup>e<\/sup> ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive, le Romans Group, une firme am\u00e9ricaine sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans l\u2019analyse du march\u00e9 automobile nord-am\u00e9ricain, publie son rapport sur le march\u00e9 de la carrosserie.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ce rapport couvre les march\u00e9s am\u00e9ricain et canadien en se basant sur les chiffres compil\u00e9s en 2018. Il vient d\u00e9tailler les grandes lignes des tendances du march\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es par le pr\u00e9sident du groupe, Vincent Romans, l\u2019automne dernier devant les propri\u00e9taires de multiples ateliers lors du MSO Symposium de Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p>Le premier constat du rapport est que l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me du secteur de la carrosserie est en profonde mutation, exigeant des entreprises un ajustement rapide aux nouveaux mod\u00e8les d\u2019affaires et aux technologies. Cette pression est telle que l\u2019analyse pr\u00e9voit que plusieurs entreprises sortiront de gr\u00e9 ou de force du march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Si, au Canada, 2019 a \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9e par l\u2019acquisition de Carrossier ProColor par le r\u00e9seau Fix Auto, du c\u00f4t\u00e9 am\u00e9ricain, la fusion entre Caliber Collision et ABRA a \u00e9t\u00e9 tout autant historique en cr\u00e9ant une entit\u00e9 commerciale qui regroupe 1000 ateliers dans 37 \u00c9tats.<br \/>\n<strong>Ateliers en baisse<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ces regroupements ne sont pas \u00e9trangers au fait que si le nombre d\u2019ateliers est en baisse constante au Canada depuis six ans, le volume des ventes est rest\u00e9 relativement stable. Les ateliers appartenant \u00e0 de grands r\u00e9seaux &#8211; ce qui repr\u00e9senterait selon le rapport de Romans 30\u00a0% du nombre total d\u2019ateliers au Canada, &#8211; s\u2019accapareraient plus des trois quarts du march\u00e9. Cette tendance d\u2019acquisition et de consolidation devrait se poursuivre dans l\u2019avenir.<\/p>\n<p>Il est \u00e0 souligner que le rapport \u00e9tablit que le revenu moyen par atelier est nettement sup\u00e9rieur aux \u00c9tats-Unis qu\u2019au Canada mais que dans les deux pays, les co\u00fbts moyens de r\u00e9paration vont poursuivre leur hausse.<\/p>\n<p>Constatant que des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la fronti\u00e8re une dizaine de compagnies d\u2019assurances d\u00e9tiennent la plus importante part du march\u00e9, le groupe Romans juge que leur poids se fera sentir davantage au cours des prochaines ann\u00e9es. Les nouveaux processus de r\u00e9clamation pourraient ainsi changer les relations entre les assureurs et les carrossiers en mettant encore plus d\u2019emphase sur les r\u00e9seaux de confiance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vers une norme pour le secteur<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>D\u2019autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments, selon le Romans Group, vont avoir un impact sur le secteur de la carrosserie dans l\u2019avenir. Les programmes de certification et d\u2019accr\u00e9ditation vont continuer \u00e0 faire leur chemin.
