Ces sp\u00e9cifications succ\u00e8dent aux cat\u00e9gories actuelles API CK-4 et FA-4 afin d&rsquo;adapter les lubrifiants aux exigences des motorisations r\u00e9centes et de leurs syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;antipollution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>Pour les gestionnaires de parcs commerciaux et les transporteurs routiers, la cat\u00e9gorie API CL-4 conserve une r\u00e9trocompatibilit\u00e9 compl\u00e8te avec les moteurs plus anciens, simplifiant la gestion des stocks de fluides. Les essais sur le terrain d\u00e9montrent que la formule T4 15W-40 am\u00e9liore le contr\u00f4le des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts de 58 % par rapport \u00e0 l&rsquo;ancienne norme CK-4, tandis que la version semi-synth\u00e9tique T5 10W-30 d\u00e9passe de 90 % les exigences contre la d\u00e9gradation de l&rsquo;huile. Sur le plan de la protection contre l&rsquo;usure, l&rsquo;huile 100 % synth\u00e9tique T6 10W-30 affiche un gain de 66 % par rapport aux exigences de base.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>En appui \u00e0 ces gains de durabilit\u00e9, Shell bonifie ses couvertures de garantie : la protection du produit T5 passe \u00e0 12 ans ou 400 000 milles (environ 640 000 km), tandis que celle de la T6 atteint 15 ans ou 600 000 milles (environ 965 000 km).
