Champion national, il s\u2019est mesur\u00e9 aux meilleur.e.s technicien.ne.s en vitres automobiles de 30 pays lors de la 13<\/span><span>e<\/span><span> \u00e9dition de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement mondial. Best of Belron rassemble les membres d\u2019un r\u00e9seau de plus de 15 000 technicien.ne.s au sein de Belron. Sylvain a livr\u00e9 une solide performance dans les \u00e9preuves de r\u00e9paration et de remplacement de pare-brise, de remplacement de vitres lat\u00e9rales et de recalibration des cam\u00e9ras des syst\u00e8mes avanc\u00e9s d\u2019aide \u00e0 la conduite (SAAC). Sa participation illustre son expertise et la qualit\u00e9 de son travail sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>De Repentigny aux rives du Tage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>Sylvain Dubois, technicien et mentor chez Lebeau Vitres d\u2019autos\u00ae \u00e0 Repentigny, a repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le Canada \u00e0 titre de champion national, succ\u00e9dant \u00e0 David Chester, repr\u00e9sentant canadien en 2024. Sylvain a d\u00e9clar\u00e9, \u00ab Participer \u00e0 cette comp\u00e9tition repr\u00e9sente l\u2019aboutissement d\u2019ann\u00e9es de d\u00e9vouement et de passion. Cette exp\u00e9rience a \u00e9t\u00e9 rendue possible gr\u00e2ce au soutien ind\u00e9fectible de mes coll\u00e8gues et de mes pairs. Ce fut un privil\u00e8ge de repr\u00e9senter le Canada sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale. \u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>La comp\u00e9tition Best of Belron<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>Cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 2002 et pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e tous les deux ans, la comp\u00e9tition r\u00e9unit les meilleur.e.s technicien.ne.s en vitres automobiles du r\u00e9seau Belron. Pour acc\u00e9der \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement mondial, chaque participant.e doit d\u2019abord remporter le titre national de son pays \u00e0 l\u2019issue d\u2019\u00e9preuves r\u00e9gionales et nationales. Fort de plus de 37 ans d\u2019exp\u00e9rience, Sylvain Dubois s\u2019est d\u00e9marqu\u00e9 parmi plus de 500\u00a0technicien.ne.s de Belron Canada. Apr\u00e8s avoir remport\u00e9 la finale provinciale du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 l\u2019automne 2025, puis la finale nationale, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi pour repr\u00e9senter le Canada \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9dition 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>Lors de la comp\u00e9tition mondiale, chacune des quatre proc\u00e9dures est \u00e9valu\u00e9e selon une grille pouvant compter jusqu\u2019\u00e0 95 \u00e9tapes. L\u2019\u00e9valuation globale totalise plus de 5 000 points. Les juges mesurent notamment la qualit\u00e9 du travail, l\u2019exp\u00e9rience de service \u00e0 la client\u00e8le, le respect des protocoles de sant\u00e9 et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ainsi que la rapidit\u00e9 d\u2019ex\u00e9cution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>L\u2019excellence au service de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des v\u00e9hicules<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>La r\u00e9paration et le remplacement de pare-brise exigent une grande pr\u00e9cision technique et une attention constante \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Ils reposent aussi sur une formation continue. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son exp\u00e9rience, Sylvain Dubois souligne que la ma\u00eetrise de techniques avanc\u00e9es, dont la recalibration des cam\u00e9ras SAAC, est devenue essentielle pour assurer un travail de haute qualit\u00e9 et se d\u00e9marquer au plus haut niveau.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>Sylvain l\u2019explique ainsi, \u00ab En tant qu\u2019automobilistes, nous tenons souvent nos pare-brises pour acquis et tol\u00e9rons parfois des \u00e9clats ou des fissures sans en mesurer pleinement les cons\u00e9quences pour notre s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Il est essentiel de confier la r\u00e9paration ou le remplacement d\u2019un pare-brise \u00e0 des professionnels et de s\u2019assurer que les cam\u00e9ras SAAC orient\u00e9es vers l\u2019avant sont correctement recalibr\u00e9es. Aujourd\u2019hui, cette recalibration constitue une \u00e9tape essentielle de tout remplacement de pare-brise.
