Ce r\u00e9seau, d\u00e9tenu par la Corporation des concessionnaires automobiles du Qu\u00e9bec, est naturellement le plus proche des fabricants, travaillant \u00e9troitement avec les d\u00e9taillants de v\u00e9hicules neufs. Cette position privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e permet-elle aux r\u00e9parateurs de se pr\u00e9parer aux nouveaut\u00e9s et de s&rsquo;\u00e9quiper et se former en cons\u00e9quence ?<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_410007\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-410007\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-410007 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/autosphere.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Remi-Michaud.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-410007\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Gargya, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du r\u00e9seau CarrXpert<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u00ab Oui et non, r\u00e9pond M. Les concessionnaires et les ateliers de notre r\u00e9seau ne sont pas n\u00e9cessairement inform\u00e9s avant les autres entreprises de r\u00e9paration. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Des pi\u00e8ces en \u00e9volution<br \/>\n<\/strong>En effet, le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de CarrXpert ne peut pas bl\u00e2mer les constructeurs pour ce manque d&rsquo;information. \u00ab Non seulement les technologies \u00e9voluent constamment, mais il en va de m\u00eame pour les contraintes r\u00e9glementaires de nos gouvernements. \u00bb En r\u00e9sum\u00e9, la combinaison de la r\u00e9duction du poids des v\u00e9hicules et de leur co\u00fbt de production, accentu\u00e9e par les effets de mode et la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de lancer sans cesse de nouveaux mod\u00e8les, entra\u00eene une multiplication de pi\u00e8ces compos\u00e9es de nouveaux mat\u00e9riaux.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, Normand Cormier, directeur de formation pour les Am\u00e9riques chez Axalta et sp\u00e9cialiste des surfaces, souligne que la tendance consiste surtout \u00e0 associer une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de mat\u00e9riaux. \u00ab Par exemple, les panneaux de porte ext\u00e9rieurs sur certains mod\u00e8les d&rsquo;Acura sont en aluminium, tandis que le caisson est en acier. Ces deux m\u00e9taux peuvent g\u00e9n\u00e9rer de la corrosion galvanique lorsqu&rsquo;ils sont en contact, il est donc imp\u00e9ratif de suivre les recommandations du fabricant lors du remplacement du panneau ext\u00e9rieur. \u00bb<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_410007\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-410007\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-410007 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/autosphere.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/jf-gargya.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-410007\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">R\u00e9mi Michaud est directeur r\u00e9gional pour le Qu\u00e9bec du r\u00e9seau CARSTAR<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>R\u00e9mi Michaud, enseignant et sp\u00e9cialiste en r\u00e9paration d&rsquo;\u00e9quipements motoris\u00e9s, ainsi que directeur r\u00e9gional pour le Qu\u00e9bec chez CARSTAR, explique que la carrosserie moderne subit une transformation profonde. \u00ab Les plastiques techniques, l&rsquo;aluminium, les aciers multiphases et les composites n\u00e9cessitent d\u00e9sormais une approche enti\u00e8rement dict\u00e9e par les constructeurs. Audi, par exemple, interdit toute r\u00e9paration plastique ou application de mastic dans un rayon de 25 centim\u00e8tres autour des capteurs d&rsquo;angle mort, et limite l&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur de peinture \u00e0 150 microm\u00e8tres, afin d&rsquo;\u00e9viter d&rsquo;aveugler les radars et l&rsquo;ACC situ\u00e9s derri\u00e8re les pare-chocs\u00b9. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Dans les v\u00e9hicules haute performance, les r\u00e8gles sont encore plus strictes, souligne-t-il. Par exemple, sur la Corvette C8, General Motors exige le remplacement complet des pi\u00e8ces structurelles en fibre de carbone plut\u00f4t qu&rsquo;une r\u00e9paration, en raison de la sensibilit\u00e9 de ces composants\u00b2. Dans certains cas, l&rsquo;utilisation de pi\u00e8ces non OEM peut compromettre la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et la garantie du v\u00e9hicule\u00b3.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c0 r\u00e9parer avec soin<br \/>\n<\/strong>M\u00eame les pare-chocs n\u00e9cessitent une attention particuli\u00e8re : plusieurs constructeurs rappellent qu&rsquo;ils ne tol\u00e8rent ni r\u00e9parations structurelles ni exc\u00e8s de peinture lorsque des radars sont int\u00e9gr\u00e9s\u2074.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Face \u00e0 cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9, les ateliers doivent se tourner vers la formation continue et se r\u00e9f\u00e9rer \u00e0 la documentation OEM, insiste M. Michaud. Apr\u00e8s 35 ans dans le m\u00e9tier, je constate que la carrosserie \u00e9volue vers une profession hybride, o\u00f9 le technicien devient sp\u00e9cialiste des mat\u00e9riaux, de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectronique, de la calibration et des normes OEM. L&rsquo;avenir appartient \u00e0 ceux qui acceptent cette complexit\u00e9 et investissent dans la formation et la rigueur. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Une information accessible \u00e0 tous<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span>Selon Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Gargya, tous les ateliers du march\u00e9 secondaire ont acc\u00e8s aux m\u00eames donn\u00e9es et processus que les concessionnaires. \u00ab Parfois, il faut attendre des mois avant que les derniers processus de r\u00e9paration soient mis \u00e0 jour par le constructeur. C&rsquo;\u00e9tait plus simple quand un constructeur conservait le m\u00eame mod\u00e8le avec quelques changements cosm\u00e9tiques pendant dix ans. De plus, le march\u00e9 de la r\u00e9paration \u00e9volue. La r\u00e9paration de ces pi\u00e8ces n\u00e9cessite un savoir-faire technique qui s&rsquo;appauvrit.
