Il est toujours pr\u00e9sent, pr\u00eat \u00e0 faire tout ce qu\u2019il peut pour aider. Il a acquis une solide expertise du march\u00e9 secondaire, un secteur qu\u2019il a int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 19 ans. Sans r\u00e9v\u00e9ler son \u00e2ge exact, il y \u0153uvre depuis plus de 45 ans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Je connaissais Luc de r\u00e9putation avant notre rencontre, et lorsqu\u2019il m\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9 de le conna\u00eetre, il s\u2019est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 \u00eatre exactement la personne que l\u2019on m\u2019avait d\u00e9crite. Il noue facilement des relations. De l\u00e0 est n\u00e9e une amiti\u00e9 qui n\u2019a cess\u00e9 de se renforcer au fil du temps. Nous avons partag\u00e9 de nombreux \u00e9v\u00e9nements de l\u2019industrie et collabor\u00e9 \u00e0 maintes reprises. Il a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u00e0 pour moi, comme pour toutes les personnes qu\u2019il peut aider.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Je me souviens d\u2019un trajet en voiture particuli\u00e8rement amusant. Luc a appris l\u2019anglais en autodidacte et s\u2019en sort tr\u00e8s bien. Il lui arrive parfois de me demander de l\u2019aider \u00e0 prononcer correctement un mot. Je pense notamment \u00e0 la fois o\u00f9 nous parlions de la prochaine r\u00e9union de l\u2019AIA Canada, qui devait se tenir dans la vall\u00e9e de l\u2019Okanagan. Luc s\u2019effor\u00e7ait de prononcer \u00ab Okanagan \u00bb, ce que son accent francophone ne facilitait pas, et l\u2019exercice nous a occup\u00e9s pr\u00e8s de deux heures. Entre les essais r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9s et les \u00e9clats de rire, il a fini par ma\u00eetriser le mot. Nous en rions encore aujourd\u2019hui.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Il conna\u00eet parfaitement son m\u00e9tier<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Luc conna\u00eet ind\u00e9niablement son m\u00e9tier et sait le mettre en pratique avec efficacit\u00e9. Au fil d\u2019un parcours qui l\u2019a conduit d\u2019abord dans la vente de produits destin\u00e9s au march\u00e9 secondaire puis dans la publicit\u00e9 magazine, il a g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 plusieurs millions de dollars en ventes de produits et d\u2019espaces publicitaires. Autrement dit, il comprend ses interlocuteurs et ma\u00eetrise l\u2019art de vendre. Il a \u00e9galement jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le important au sein d\u2019AIA Canada, o\u00f9 il a pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 la Division du Qu\u00e9bec pendant plusieurs ann\u00e9es. Sous sa direction, la division a obtenu le prix de la Division de l\u2019ann\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Apr\u00e8s avoir collabor\u00e9 ensemble sur plusieurs magazines, nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 sollicit\u00e9s pour participer au lancement de CASP, un nouveau magazine destin\u00e9 aux grossistes et aux ateliers de service, Luc occupant naturellement le poste de directeur des ventes. Avec les ann\u00e9es et au fil des changements de propri\u00e9taires, CASP est devenu Autosphere, qui occupe aujourd\u2019hui une place solide et appr\u00e9ci\u00e9e dans son cr\u00e9neau, en grande partie gr\u00e2ce aux efforts de vente et \u00e0 la pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance de Luc, surtout durant les premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. C\u2019est un ma\u00eetre de la vente. Il a le temp\u00e9rament n\u00e9cessaire pour pers\u00e9v\u00e9rer m\u00eame apr\u00e8s un premier refus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sa personnalit\u00e9 est son meilleur atout<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>La personnalit\u00e9 de Luc est son meilleur atout. Il n\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve jamais la voix et ne se met jamais en col\u00e8re. Son calme et son attitude positive finissent presque toujours par convaincre le client. Et cela se refl\u00e8te dans la mani\u00e8re dont il traite les personnes : avec respect et franchise. Il \u00e9vite toute ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 et fait toujours preuve d\u2019honn\u00eatet\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Il est \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s attach\u00e9 \u00e0 sa famille. Mari\u00e9 depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es \u00e0 Manon, ils ont \u00e9lev\u00e9 leur fille Doroth\u00e9e, aujourd\u2019hui mari\u00e9e \u00e0 Pat. Ensemble, ils ont vu leur famille s\u2019agrandir avec la naissance de Th\u00e9odore, leur premier petit-enfant. Luc lui accorde une grande place et passera sans doute encore plus de temps avec lui maintenant qu\u2019il prend sa retraite.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Luc manquera \u00e9norm\u00e9ment \u00e0 toute l\u2019\u00e9quipe d\u2019Autosphere Media, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 tous les amis qu\u2019il s\u2019est faits dans le march\u00e9 secondaire de l\u2019automobile. C\u2019est un professionnel int\u00e8gre, attentionn\u00e9 et d\u2019une grande honn\u00eatet\u00e9, et nous lui souhaitons une retraite pleinement m\u00e9rit\u00e9e. Cela dit, ceux qui le connaissent savent qu\u2019il ne restera pas inactif. Il continuera de s\u2019investir dans le magasin de pi\u00e8ces d\u00e9tach\u00e9es qu\u2019il g\u00e8re avec Doroth\u00e9e et poursuivra ce qu\u2019il a toujours su faire avec brio : vendre. Il prendra aussi le temps de s\u2019occuper de sa voiture de collection et de sa \u00ab Vette \u00bb. Luc, tu as toute notre estime et nos meilleurs v\u0153ux.
