Le v\u00e9hicule a \u00e9t\u00e9 remorqu\u00e9, et le client a indiqu\u00e9 que le t\u00e9moin de v\u00e9rification du moteur et l\u2019alerte HV s\u2019\u00e9taient allum\u00e9s pendant qu\u2019il roulait. Un message est apparu au tableau de bord lui demandant de s\u2019arr\u00eater et de se ranger. Le client a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 rouler, puisque le v\u00e9hicule fonctionnait encore. Il a ainsi pu continuer \u00e0 conduire, malgr\u00e9 les t\u00e9moins allum\u00e9s, pendant quelques jours, jusqu\u2019au moment o\u00f9 le v\u00e9hicule n\u2019est plus parvenu \u00e0 passer en mode READY. Le v\u00e9hicule a alors \u00e9t\u00e9 remorqu\u00e9 pour r\u00e9paration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>D\u00e9faillance d\u2019isolement du syst\u00e8me<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape consistait \u00e0 v\u00e9rifier les codes pour orienter le diagnostic. J\u2019ai scann\u00e9 le v\u00e9hicule et r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 un code P0AA6 avec sous-code 49. La description indiquait <em>System Isolation Internal Electronic Failure<\/em>, avec un crit\u00e8re de d\u00e9faillance li\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9sistance d\u2019isolement entre le circuit haute tension et la carrosserie. Le syst\u00e8me de surveillance haute tension a d\u00e9tect\u00e9 une fuite HV vers la carrosserie, autrement dit un court-circuit HV vers la masse du v\u00e9hicule. Bien qu\u2019il existe de nombreux codes concernant les fuites HV, qui orientent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement vers un composant ou un sous-syst\u00e8me pr\u00e9cis, le P0AA6-49 est un code g\u00e9n\u00e9ral qui ne d\u00e9signe aucune pi\u00e8ce en particulier.<\/p>\n<p>En consultant l\u2019arbre de diagnostic li\u00e9 \u00e0 ce code, tous les composants et c\u00e2bles HV figurent comme zones potentielles de d\u00e9faillance. Tester chacun de ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments alors que le court est actif peut \u00eatre intimidant, et cela se complique encore davantage lorsque, comme dans notre cas, d\u00e8s que nous effacions les codes, le v\u00e9hicule revenait \u00e0 un fonctionnement normal sans aucun code actif.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essai routier<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Avec ce type de probl\u00e8me, un essai routier r\u00e9alis\u00e9 correctement peut permettre d\u2019identifier la zone de d\u00e9faillance. Pour ce faire, il faut surveiller le param\u00e8tre Short Wave Highest Value. (Fig. 1) Ce param\u00e8tre est la m\u00e9thode utilis\u00e9e par Toyota pour suivre les fuites HV. Selon le v\u00e9hicule, ce PID peut appara\u00eetre sous diff\u00e9rentes formes, mais sur ce Highlander Hybrid il comportait quatre \u00e9tats : Normal, Not Judged, Insulation Lower Level 2 et Insulation Lower Level 3. Normal est explicite, et chaque niveau sup\u00e9rieur indique une fuite accrue, Level 3 correspondant \u00e0 un court quasi franc.<\/p>\n<p>Un essai routier a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en surveillant le <em>Short Wave Highest Value <\/em>ainsi que MG1 et MG2. La proc\u00e9dure est la suivante : on commence par effacer tous les codes, puis en surveillant les t\u00e9moins et l\u2019outil de diagnostic, on place le v\u00e9hicule en mode <em>Ignition On<\/em>. Dans ce mode, le module de contr\u00f4le de la batterie est activ\u00e9, mais la batterie HV reste isol\u00e9e du reste du v\u00e9hicule. Si la d\u00e9faillance appara\u00eet \u00e0 ce stade, le probl\u00e8me provient du bloc-batterie HV. Nous avons ensuite mis le v\u00e9hicule en mode READY et l\u2019avons plac\u00e9 au point mort. Cela connecte la batterie HV \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble onduleur, tout en d\u00e9sactivant les g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs MG. Puis, nous avons appuy\u00e9 sur la p\u00e9dale d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur pour forcer la mise en marche du moteur thermique. Cette action active MG1. Ensuite, nous avons roul\u00e9 avec le v\u00e9hicule. Cela active MG2 et, dans notre cas, lors des acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations et des freinages, le moteur \u00e9lectrique de l\u2019essieu arri\u00e8re. Durant l\u2019essai, le v\u00e9hicule a continuellement enregistr\u00e9 le code pendant les phases d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration et de d\u00e9c\u00e9l\u00e9ration. On peut voir le param\u00e8tre varier au freinage et \u00e0 l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration. (Fig. 1) MG2 \u00e9tant actif en permanence d\u00e8s que le v\u00e9hicule est en mouvement, mais le moteur \u00e9lectrique arri\u00e8re fonctionnant uniquement lors des acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations et des freinages, nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de v\u00e9rifier ce moteur arri\u00e8re en premier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C\u00e2bles corrod\u00e9s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En inspectant les c\u00e2bles HV du moteur arri\u00e8re, j\u2019ai constat\u00e9 que le couvercle arri\u00e8re semblait l\u00e9g\u00e8rement d\u00e9form\u00e9 et encrass\u00e9. (Fig. 2) Nous avons ensuite d\u00e9mont\u00e9 le connecteur pour examiner le c\u00e2blage de plus pr\u00e8s. Nous avons d\u00e9couvert une corrosion prononc\u00e9e ainsi qu\u2019une d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration du support de montage et du blindage. (Fig. 3)<\/p>\n<p>Le c\u00e2ble a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de 2 000 $ CA, auxquels il faut ajouter l\u2019installation. Heureusement pour le client, le v\u00e9hicule b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019une garantie de 96 mois ou 160 000 km sur les composants li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019hybridation. Le concessionnaire prendra donc la r\u00e9paration en charge, et nous avons appris qu\u2019il garde ce c\u00e2ble en stock. Il est clair que ce probl\u00e8me est connu du concessionnaire.
