Vincent Gaudreau est propri\u00e9taire d\u2019un atelier que son p\u00e8re Richard et son oncle Jacques ont en grande partie b\u00e2ti de leurs propres mains il y a 45 ans. L\u2019entrepreneur a rachet\u00e9 les parts de son oncle puis de son p\u00e8re. Toutefois, ce dernier reste attach\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019entreprise et demeure le conseiller principal de son fils.<\/p>\n

L\u2019atelier a su \u00e9voluer, et son propri\u00e9taire suit attentivement les avanc\u00e9es technologiques. Ici, on r\u00e9pare la camionnette diesel tout comme la plus r\u00e9cente voiture \u00e9lectrique. La formation y est continue et les \u00e9quipements r\u00e9pondent aux normes les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous livrons entre 12 et 18 v\u00e9hicules par semaine, explique Vincent Gaudreau. Et cela, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une solide \u00e9quipe d\u2019une dizaine de personnes, dont cinq techniciens. L\u2019an prochain, j\u2019entreprends la construction d\u2019un tout nouvel atelier qui sera trois fois plus spacieux. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Trouver les ressources<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00c9videmment, un plus grand atelier signifie un besoin accru de travailleurs. Or, la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre qualifi\u00e9e est rare en ce moment. Toutefois, Vincent a un as dans sa manche. Il a eu recours au recrutement international pour compenser l\u2019offre locale an\u00e9mique et a d\u00e9nich\u00e9 une perle rare. Il compte bien renouveler l\u2019exp\u00e9rience si n\u00e9cessaire.<\/p>\n

\u00ab J\u2019avais entrepris des d\u00e9marches pour trouver des travailleurs \u00e9trangers il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, t\u00e9moigne-t-il. R\u00e9seau Fix m\u2019avait donn\u00e9 un coup de main pr\u00e9cieux en me mettant en relation avec des agences de recrutement s\u00e9rieuses. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Un candidat avait \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9, mais la pand\u00e9mie frappe et tout est fig\u00e9 pendant dix mois. Le processus est complexe, mais l\u2019agence s\u2019est occup\u00e9e de toute la paperasse et de l\u2019encadrement.<\/p>\n

Finalement, Jos\u00e9 Arturo, carrossier mexicain sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 en d\u00e9bosselage et redressement de ch\u00e2ssis, rejoint la petite \u00e9quipe le 2 septembre 2021. Comment s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e son int\u00e9gration ?<\/p>\n

\u00ab Les membres de l\u2019\u00e9quipe ont soutenu mon approche et je vous le dis, d\u00e8s qu\u2019ils ont vu \u00e0 quel point Jos\u00e9 \u00e9tait comp\u00e9tent et avait une attitude positive, ils ont pouss\u00e9 un soupir collectif de soulagement. Enfin, quelqu\u2019un venait les aider \u00bb, t\u00e9moigne Vincent. Il se rem\u00e9more avec un sourire les premiers mois o\u00f9 la communication avec l\u2019hispanophone se faisait par l\u2019entremise de Google Traduction. Un simple accompagnement sur certaines pratiques a suffi \u00e0 aligner le travailleur sur les attentes les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Et la belle histoire ne s\u2019arr\u00eate pas l\u00e0. En effet, depuis le printemps 2023, Jonatan, fils de Jos\u00e9, travaille dans l\u2019atelier. Un duo p\u00e8re-fils qui fait des \u00e9tincelles.<\/p>\n

De plus, toute la famille \u2013 son \u00e9pouse et cinq de leurs six enfants \u2013 est maintenant r\u00e9unie \u00e0 Pintendre et s\u2019int\u00e8gre \u00e0 sa communaut\u00e9 d\u2019accueil. Les plus jeunes vont \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole, tandis que l\u2019\u00e9pouse de Jos\u00e9 a trouv\u00e9 un emploi dans une entreprise voisine de transformation alimentaire.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Je suis tellement content pour eux. Ils sont travailleurs et veulent s\u2019int\u00e9grer. C\u2019est un exemple inspirant, explique le carrossier. Leur arriv\u00e9e a un impact direct sur la rentabilit\u00e9 et le d\u00e9veloppement de mon entreprise.
