Source : Mark Lemay\"><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<p data-start=\"1873\" data-end=\"2606\"><span>Ce cas a d\u00e9but\u00e9 par un simple appel \u00e0 la ligne technique, que je pensais avoir class\u00e9\u2026 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que le technicien revienne vers nous avec un nouveau souci, apparu apr\u00e8s l\u2019intervention.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1873\" data-end=\"2606\">Le v\u00e9hicule en question est un Jeep Grand Cherokee 2019 \u00e9quip\u00e9 d\u2019un V6 3,6 L. La plainte initiale concernait un rat\u00e9 d\u2019allumage avec les codes P0302 et P0300. Le technicien a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 aux v\u00e9rifications habituelles des bobines, bougies et injecteurs sans rien d\u00e9celer d\u2019anormal. Un test de compression a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 140 psi sur le banc 2 et 210 psi sur le banc 1. Fort de mon exp\u00e9rience avec ce moteur \u2014 souvent sujet \u00e0 des probl\u00e8mes de culbuteurs \u00e0 rouleaux et d\u2019arbres \u00e0 cames \u2014, j\u2019ai demand\u00e9 au technicien de retirer le couvercle de soupapes du banc 2 pour inspecter ces composants. Plusieurs lobes de came \u00e9taient us\u00e9s. Le technicien a donc remplac\u00e9 les arbres \u00e0 cames et les culbuteurs du banc 2, ce qui aurait d\u00fb r\u00e9soudre le probl\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2608\" data-end=\"2634\"><strong data-start=\"2608\" data-end=\"2634\">Code de m\u00e9lange pauvre<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2636\" data-end=\"3493\">Peu apr\u00e8s la r\u00e9paration, le technicien a rappel\u00e9 pour signaler que les rat\u00e9s et les codes associ\u00e9s avaient disparu, mais que le v\u00e9hicule affichait d\u00e9sormais un code P0171 sur le banc 1. Rien de tr\u00e8s surprenant \u2014 lorsqu\u2019un rat\u00e9 est pr\u00e9sent, le m\u00e9lange air\/carburant non br\u00fbl\u00e9 peut se retrouver dans le catalyseur, le surchauffer et le faire fondre. Si cela se produit, le catalyseur bouch\u00e9 du banc 2 restreint le d\u00e9bit d\u2019air, for\u00e7ant davantage d\u2019air vers le banc 1, ce qui entra\u00eene un code de m\u00e9lange pauvre. J\u2019ai demand\u00e9 au technicien d\u2019effectuer un test de contre-pression sur le banc 2. R\u00e9sultat : une contre-pression inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 1 psi \u00e0 2500 tr\/min. C\u2019est une valeur normale, ce qui \u00e9limine l\u2019hypoth\u00e8se du catalyseur obstru\u00e9. J\u2019ai alors d\u00e9cid\u00e9 qu\u2019il \u00e9tait temps d\u2019examiner moi-m\u00eame le v\u00e9hicule plut\u00f4t que d\u2019essayer de r\u00e9soudre le probl\u00e8me par t\u00e9l\u00e9phone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3495\" data-end=\"4078\">Ma premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape a \u00e9t\u00e9 de scanner le v\u00e9hicule et d\u2019examiner certaines donn\u00e9es. Apr\u00e8s avoir connect\u00e9 l\u2019outil de diagnostic et confirm\u00e9 les codes, j\u2019ai consult\u00e9 les ajustements de carburant. Au ralenti, le banc 1 affichait +12 et le banc 2 -2. Cet \u00e9cart est consid\u00e9rable : les deux bancs devraient normalement se situer \u00e0 2 ou 3 % l\u2019un de l\u2019autre. J\u2019ai aussi not\u00e9 que le moteur avait un ralenti l\u00e9g\u00e8rement irr\u00e9gulier, bien qu\u2019il fonctionne normalement \u00e0 r\u00e9gime plus \u00e9lev\u00e9. Il ne s\u2019agissait pas d\u2019un rat\u00e9, mais le ralenti \u00e9tait plus rugueux que ce \u00e0 quoi je m\u2019attendais avec ce moteur.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"4080\" data-end=\"4105\"><strong data-start=\"4080\" data-end=\"4105\">D\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre du d\u00e9bit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"4107\" data-end=\"5279\">Les ajustements de carburant indiquaient un d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre du d\u00e9bit d\u2019air entre les deux bancs. Cela survient lorsque l\u2019un des c\u00f4t\u00e9s du moteur assure un meilleur remplissage des cylindres que l\u2019autre. La cause la plus fr\u00e9quente est un catalyseur obstru\u00e9, mais ce sc\u00e9nario avait \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9cart\u00e9. L\u2019\u00e9tape suivante consistait \u00e0 v\u00e9rifier m\u00e9caniquement la respiration du moteur. Pour cela, j\u2019ai utilis\u00e9 un transducteur de pression branch\u00e9 au collecteur d\u2019admission. Les r\u00e9sultats sont illustr\u00e9s \u00e0 la figure 1. La trace rouge correspond \u00e0 l\u2019injecteur no 2 et la trace bleue \u00e0 la d\u00e9pression. Il est clair qu\u2019un cycle d\u2019admission sur deux est plus faible. L\u2019appel d\u2019air juste avant la trace de l\u2019injecteur provient du banc 1. Remarquez que la d\u00e9pression est moins marqu\u00e9e et tend \u00e0 rester plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e, ce qui indique que le banc 1 ne maintient pas correctement la pression n\u00e9gative. Il est \u00e9vident qu\u2019il a un probl\u00e8me de remplissage. Nous avons alors retir\u00e9 le couvercle de soupapes du banc 1 pour inspecter les arbres \u00e0 cames. Les r\u00e9sultats sont montr\u00e9s \u00e0 la figure 2.
