Mais quel est cet appr\u00eat exactement\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le \u00ab e-coat \u00bb, \u00e9galement connu sous le nom d\u2019\u00e9lectrod\u00e9position, est un processus unique de rev\u00eatement qui combine peinture et placage. Source : Axalta<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Comment \u00e7a fonctionne ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tout d\u2019abord, les pi\u00e8ces sont lav\u00e9es m\u00e9ticuleusement avec une solution souvent compos\u00e9e de phosphate, puis rinc\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019eau d\u00e9sionis\u00e9e. Ceci augmente la conductivit\u00e9 du m\u00e9tal et assure une bonne adh\u00e9sion pour la prochaine \u00e9tape du proc\u00e9d\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Elles sont ensuite immerg\u00e9es dans une solution qui est en constante agitation et compos\u00e9e d\u2019environ 80 \u00e0 90\u00a0% d&rsquo;eau d\u00e9sionis\u00e9e et de 10 \u00e0 20% de r\u00e9sines \u00e9poxydes et de pigments, qui composent l\u2019appr\u00eat. \u00a0Un courant \u00e9lectrique est appliqu\u00e9 aux pi\u00e8ces pour y faire adh\u00e9rer l\u2019appr\u00eat uniform\u00e9ment \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur et \u00e0 l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur des pi\u00e8ces, m\u00eame si celles-ci ont des formes complexes.<\/p>\n<p>Le m\u00eame proc\u00e9d\u00e9 est utilis\u00e9 chez les constructeurs o\u00f9 la carrosserie de m\u00e9tal des v\u00e9hicules est compl\u00e8tement immerg\u00e9e dans de grands bassins pour effectuer le traitement. La tension \u00e9lectrique appliqu\u00e9e sur la pi\u00e8ce va d\u00e9terminer l&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur du rev\u00eatement. Une fois sortie de la solution, la pi\u00e8ce est rinc\u00e9e de nouveau pour enlever tout exc\u00e9dent de particules solides qui pourraient \u00eatre rest\u00e9es en surface. La pi\u00e8ce est ensuite cuite \u00e0 190\u00b0C (375\u00b0F) pendant 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que l\u2019appr\u00eat soit tr\u00e8s mince, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement autour de 12 microns, il offre une excellente protection anticorrosion \u00e0 la pi\u00e8ce qui ne peut \u00eatre \u00e9gal\u00e9e par les appr\u00eats liquides utilis\u00e9s en refinition.
