Lors des comp\u00e9titions des jeudi et vendredi 30 et 31 mai tenues au Centre de Foires de Qu\u00e9bec, ce sont les concurrents de l’Ouest, sur un total de 44, qui ont rafl\u00e9 le gros des m\u00e9dailles des \u00e9preuves de M\u00e9canique, Carrosserie et Peinture, soit 14 sur 18.<\/strong><\/p>\n

L’Alberta a \u00e9t\u00e9 de loin en t\u00eate, en r\u00e9coltant six m\u00e9dailles : une dans chaque m\u00e9tier et cat\u00e9gorie, soit trois d’Or, une d’Argent et deux de Bronze, suivie du Manitoba et de l’Ontario, dont les comp\u00e9titeurs ont d\u00e9croch\u00e9 une fois l’Or et deux fois l’Argent. Les participants qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois n\u2019ont rien r\u00e9colt\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Les six autres m\u00e9dailles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9croch\u00e9es par les champions r\u00e9gionaux de la Colombie-Britannique, de la Saskatchewan, de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, de m\u00eame que des Territoires-du-Nord-Ouest.<\/p>\n

Le Mondial en septembre<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Quant au 47e Mondial des M\u00e9tiers 2024, qui aura lieu \u00e0 Lyon entre les 10 et 15 septembre, ce sont Anthony Minotti, James Bartel et Gabrielle Leclerc, \u00e2g\u00e9s de 17 \u00e0 21 ans, qui repr\u00e9senteront le Canada en M\u00e9canique, Carrosserie et Peinture.<\/p>\n

S\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s lors des Olympiades canadiennes des m\u00e9tiers et des technologies tenues \u00e0 Winnipeg en 2023, ils y affronteront ceux d’une soixantaine de pays.<\/p>\n

Les comp\u00e9titions canadiennes sont organis\u00e9es par Skills Comp\u00e9tences Canada depuis 1994.<\/p>\n
