Les candidatures pour le prix Byrl Shoemaker\/ASE Education Foundation Instructor of the Year 2024 sont maintenant accept\u00e9es.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ce prix r\u00e9compense un instructeur d’\u00e9cole secondaire ou de coll\u00e8ge d’un programme automobile, diesel\/camion ou de r\u00e9paration de carrosserie accr\u00e9dit\u00e9 par l’ASE qui fait preuve d’excellence par son d\u00e9vouement personnel et son engagement envers les jeunes hommes et femmes qui ont choisi de poursuivre une carri\u00e8re technique dans l’industrie de l’entretien automobile. Cette r\u00e8gle s’applique \u00e9galement au Canada.<\/p>\n

Le laur\u00e9at du prix Byrl Shoemaker\/ASE Education Foundation Instructor of the Year recevra une plaque, un prix de 1000 dollars et un voyage pour deux personnes, tous frais pay\u00e9s, pour assister \u00e0 la conf\u00e9rence de formation des instructeurs de l’ASE, qui se tiendra du 15 au 18 juillet \u00e0 Minneapolis, et \u00e0 la r\u00e9union d’automne du conseil d’administration de l’ASE, qui sera c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e lors du banquet annuel de reconnaissance du technicien de l’ann\u00e9e, le 20 novembre, en Nouvelle-Orl\u00e9ans.<\/p>\n

M. Shoemaker a \u00e9t\u00e9 directeur de l’enseignement professionnel et de l’\u00e9ducation des adultes au minist\u00e8re de l’\u00e9ducation de l’Ohio de 1962 \u00e0 1982. Il a apport\u00e9 une contribution majeure \u00e0 l’\u00e9ducation, notamment en d\u00e9veloppant le syst\u00e8me de programmes d’enseignement professionnel et technique dans l’Ohio et en cr\u00e9ant les centres d’enseignement technique post-secondaire de deux ans qui ont donn\u00e9 naissance au syst\u00e8me des community colleges de l’Ohio. M. Shoemaker a \u00e9galement jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le d\u00e9terminant dans le d\u00e9veloppement de VICA (aujourd’hui SkillsUSA) dans l’Ohio et au niveau national, ainsi que dans le d\u00e9veloppement de l’accr\u00e9ditation NATEF (aujourd’hui ASE Education Foundation), qui garantit que les programmes de formation \u00e0 la r\u00e9paration automobile au niveau d’entr\u00e9e r\u00e9pondent aux normes fix\u00e9es par l’industrie de l’entretien automobile au niveau national.<\/p>\n

Des contributions qui influencent et inspirent<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u00ab Il existe de nombreuses personnes dans le domaine de la formation \u00e0 l’entretien automobile dont les contributions continuent d’influencer et d’inspirer longtemps apr\u00e8s leur d\u00e9part. C’est le cas de Byrl Shoemaker, Ph.D. \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Mike Coley, pr\u00e9sident de la Fondation pour l’\u00e9ducation de l’ASE. \u00ab Peu de gens ont fait autant pour faire avancer la formation des techniciens que le Dr Shoemaker. Chaque ann\u00e9e, la Fondation pour l’\u00e9ducation de l’ASE honore sa m\u00e9moire en d\u00e9cernant un prix en son nom. Il s’agit d’une r\u00e9alisation unique pour les instructeurs exceptionnels dont le travail refl\u00e8te le m\u00eame d\u00e9vouement \u00e0 l’enseignement technique que celui du Dr. Shoemaker. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Les candidats doivent \u00eatre propos\u00e9s par un administrateur, tel qu’un directeur d’\u00e9cole, un directeur de programme, un doyen, un directeur de d\u00e9partement ou un directeur de CTE. Les finalistes seront contact\u00e9s par les responsables de terrain de la Fondation ASE pour l’\u00e9ducation afin de v\u00e9rifier leurs informations et leur \u00e9ligibilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Pour nommer un instructeur exceptionnel, les administrateurs doivent remplir le formulaire<\/a> avant le 30 avril 2024.<\/p>\n
