Martin Bazinet n\u2019aurait jamais imagin\u00e9 devenir propri\u00e9taire du Garage G. Lajoie lorsqu\u2019il a \u00e9t\u00e9 engag\u00e9 comme pompiste \u00e0 14 ans.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Les belles histoires d’entrepreneuriat dans le secteur de l\u2019automobile sont toujours une source d\u2019inspiration pour les quelque 30 000 techniciens en m\u00e9canique du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n

Martin Bazinet, propri\u00e9taire du Garage G. Lajoie \u00e0 Richelieu, a commenc\u00e9 tout au bas de l\u2019\u00e9chelle dans l\u2019atelier. Engag\u00e9 \u00e0 titre de pompiste et d\u2019assistant aux techniciens lorsqu\u2019il \u00e9tait encore adolescent, M. Bazinet a gravi les \u00e9chelons pour finalement devenir propri\u00e9taire de l\u2019atelier qui l\u2019employait autrefois.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0\u00c0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 18 ans, j\u2019ai suivi mon cours en m\u00e9canique automobile pour devenir technicien ici. J\u2019ai appris un peu \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole, mais c\u2019est \u00e0 l\u2019atelier que je dois tout mon savoir-faire.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

M. Bazinet ach\u00e8te le Garage G. Lajoie en 2016 pour accomplir son r\u00eave d\u2019enfant : avoir son propre atelier de r\u00e9paration automobile avec sa famille. Aujourd\u2019hui, rendu \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 60 ans, il esp\u00e8re prendre sa retraite \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 70 ans et passer les r\u00eanes de son entreprise \u00e0 son fils qui \u0153uvre pr\u00e9sentement en tant que technicien dans l\u2019entreprise.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Quand j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 ici \u00e0 14 ans, je venais travailler en v\u00e9lo. Encore aujourd\u2019hui, je suis stup\u00e9fait en rentrant au boulot lorsque je r\u00e9alise que le Garage G. Lajoie, c\u2019est \u00e0 moi\u00a0! C\u2019est un tr\u00e8s grand sentiment de fiert\u00e9, j\u2019ai encore la chair de poule lorsque j\u2019en parle.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

M. Bazinet a travaill\u00e9 fort pour conna\u00eetre son succ\u00e8s. D\u00e8s sa premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e en tant que propri\u00e9taire, il double son chiffre d’affaires et depuis, sa recette entrepreneuriale continue de faire briller son atelier dans la ville de Richelieu.<\/p>\n

Les ingr\u00e9dients d\u2019une recette gagnante<\/strong><\/h2>\n

D\u2019apr\u00e8s Martin Bazinet, la source de son succ\u00e8s provient majoritairement de la qualit\u00e9 du service \u00e0 la client\u00e8le qu\u2019il offre. En effet, il n\u2019est pas rare que des clients lui disent qu\u2019ils sont impressionn\u00e9s par l\u2019encadrement offert par son service.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0\u00c0 la demande des clients, je montre pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment toutes les r\u00e9parations qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faites sur leur v\u00e9hicule. De cette fa\u00e7on, ils ont plus confiance en mon service. Je suis honn\u00eate, c\u2019est comme \u00e7a que je suis.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

L\u2019atelier de M. Bazinet attire la majorit\u00e9 de ses clients gr\u00e2ce au bouche-\u00e0-oreille. Pour agr\u00e9menter le tout, il ach\u00e8te de temps \u00e0 autre de la publicit\u00e9 \u00e0 la radio et dans les journaux locaux.<\/p>\n

En ce moment, Martin Bazinet engage sept personnes dans son atelier sous la banni\u00e8re Auto Place\u00a0: son \u00e9pouse Linda \u00e0 la r\u00e9ception, cinq m\u00e9caniciens et un assistant arriv\u00e9 en renfort pour la saison des pneus. Le gestionnaire s\u2019assure de garder les connaissances de ses m\u00e9caniciens \u00e0 jour en leur faisant suivre des formations \u00e0 longueur d\u2019ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

M. Bazinet n\u2019a pas l\u2019intention d\u2019agrandir son \u00e9quipe au cours des prochaines ann\u00e9es. En effet, g\u00e9rer son atelier lui demande d\u00e9j\u00e0 beaucoup d\u2019\u00e9nergie, et sa formule fonctionne encore tr\u00e8s bien.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0On pr\u00e9f\u00e8re faire affaire avec des particuliers, plut\u00f4t que des entreprises. En effet, lorsqu\u2019on perd de gros clients qui ont des parcs de v\u00e9hicules, c\u2019est plus compliqu\u00e9 de trouver de nouveaux clients pour les remplacer.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Finalement, le Garage G. Lajoie prouve que les techniciens en entretien automobile n\u2019ont pas besoin de r\u00eaver de devenir propri\u00e9taires. Avec de l\u2019ambition, tout est possible dans le monde de l\u2019automobile\u00a0!<\/p>\n
