Autobus Groupe S\u00e9guin a inaugur\u00e9 le 20 novembre dernier son tout nouveau si\u00e8ge social \u00e0 Laval, le premier \u00e9tablissement r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi pour l’\u00e9lectrification du transport scolaire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous nous sommes engag\u00e9s \u00e0 poursuivre la mission du fondateur G\u00e9rald S\u00e9guin tout en investissant pour l\u00e9guer une entreprise innovante \u00e0 nos enfants \u00bb, dit le pr\u00e9sident d’Autobus Groupe S\u00e9guin, St\u00e9phane Boisvert.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est dans cette optique que le groupe S\u00e9guin a ouvert son nouveau si\u00e8ge social sur le boulevard Louis-B.-Mayer, accompagn\u00e9 de nombreux politiciens et personnages influents de la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n

Autobus Groupe S\u00e9guin est l’une des entreprises de transport parmi les plus importantes au Qu\u00e9bec, comptant pr\u00e8s de 350 employ\u00e9s au volant d’une flotte de 330 v\u00e9hicules. Plus de 30 000 personnes entrent dans les autobus de l\u2019entreprise chaque jour dans les r\u00e9gions de Laval, de Lanaudi\u00e8re, des Laurentides et de Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

Pour le ministre d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00c9conomie, Christopher Skeete, le plan d\u2019action de l\u2019entreprise est un exemple \u00e0 suivre pour les autres PME qu\u00e9b\u00e9coises qui cherchent \u00e0 se moderniser.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Il s’agit d’une famille lavalloise d’entrepreneurs qui mise sur des investissements importants pour informatiser ses syst\u00e8mes d’op\u00e9ration, cr\u00e9er un centre de formation continue tout en implantant un v\u00e9ritable centre de recharge pour autobus \u00e9lectriques. \u00bb<\/p>\n

La mise en circulation des nouveaux bus \u00e9lectriques qui seront d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s chaque jour depuis le nouveau si\u00e8ge social du groupe S\u00e9guin permettra une r\u00e9duction de 6000 tonnes de GES par ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

\u00ab \u00c0 Laval, le transport repr\u00e9sente pr\u00e8s de 70 % des GES sur l’ensemble du territoire, r\u00e9v\u00e8le la conseill\u00e8re municipale du district Sainte-Rose Flavia Alexandra Novac. De voir cette entreprise qui \u0153uvre depuis plus de 50 ans sur notre territoire s’engager dans un important virage environnemental nous rend tous fiers. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Un gros effort de groupe vers la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique<\/strong><\/h2>\n

L\u2019inauguration du nouveau centre s\u2019inscrit dans le plan d\u2019\u00e9lectrification de l\u2019entreprise baptis\u00e9 Vision 2030. Groupe S\u00e9guin s\u2019est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 Cl\u00e9o en 2021, la filiale d\u2019Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec ayant comme mandat d\u2019encadrer l’\u00e9lectrification des transports dans la province.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Cl\u00e9o prend en main toute l’infrastructure de recharge, ce qui inclut la conception du site, l’installation, l’exploitation et la maintenance des infrastructures, leur permettant ainsi de se concentrer sur leur mission premi\u00e8re, explique le PDG de Cl\u00e9o, Jeff Desruisseaux. \u00bb Cl\u00e9o s\u2019occupera d\u2019installer les 140 bornes de recharge sur les lieux du nouveau si\u00e8ge social.<\/p>\n

Cl\u00e9o s\u2019est aussi donn\u00e9 comme mandat de mettre sur pied la plateforme intelligente qui g\u00e9n\u00e9rera automatiquement les plans de recharge des bus \u00e9lectriques de sorte qu’ils re\u00e7oivent l’\u00e9nergie ad\u00e9quate pour accomplir leur trajet, et ce, au meilleur co\u00fbt.<\/p>\n

En effet, disposer d\u2019une flotte de bus \u00e9lectriques impose de nombreuses contraintes, notamment en mati\u00e8re d\u2019autonomie et de temps de recharge. Ainsi, le projet lanc\u00e9 par Autobus S\u00e9guin agira \u00e0 titre de mod\u00e8le pour l\u2019industrie des bus en entier.<\/p>\n

Le projet a b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 de nombreuses sources de financement, notamment d\u2019Investissement Qu\u00e9bec, de la Banque de l’infrastructure du Canada et de la Banque de d\u00e9veloppement du Canada.<\/p>\n

Au final, on peut dire que l\u2019inauguration du nouveau si\u00e8ge social d\u2019Autobus Groupe S\u00e9guin b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiera \u00e0 tous les qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois. C\u2019est un r\u00e9el effort de groupe dans cette course vers la transition \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9nergie verte au Qu\u00e9bec!<\/p>\n
