La question alors est de savoir quel produit est le plus appropri\u00e9 : un appr\u00eat r\u00e9actif (etch primer) ou un appr\u00eat \u00e9poxyde ?<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Appr\u00eat r\u00e9actif<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les appr\u00eats r\u00e9actifs sont des produits \u00e0 deux composantes, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement compos\u00e9s d\u2019acide phosphorique et d\u2019un pigment inhibiteur de corrosion (ex : zinc). La surface m\u00e9tallique doit \u00eatre nettoy\u00e9e \u00e0 fond avant l\u2019application pour obtenir la protection recherch\u00e9e.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019acide \u00ab attaque \u00bb l\u2019acier et permet au pigment de se fixer solidement \u00e0 la surface. Le film sec a g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement environ 0,5 mil d\u2019\u00e9paisseur. On ne peut pas peindre directement sur un appr\u00eat r\u00e9actif ni appliquer de mastic de polyester ou d\u2019appr\u00eat \u00e9poxyde.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019adh\u00e9sion de ceux-ci est compromise \u00e0 cause du contenu en acide de l\u2019appr\u00eat r\u00e9actif.Cependant, une fois le mastic appliqu\u00e9 sur le m\u00e9tal et ponc\u00e9, l\u2019appr\u00eat r\u00e9actif aura une excellente adh\u00e9sion m\u00e9canique si on en applique par-dessus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finalement, l\u2019appr\u00eat r\u00e9actif doit obligatoirement \u00eatre recouvert d\u2019un appr\u00eat ur\u00e9thane \u00e0 deux composantes, qui aura une adh\u00e9sion chimique \u00e0 l\u2019appr\u00eat r\u00e9actif.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Appr\u00eat \u00e9poxyde<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les appr\u00eats \u00e9poxydes ont \u00e9galement deux composantes et ne n\u00e9cessitent pas de pon\u00e7age avant l\u2019application de couches subs\u00e9quentes, alors il s\u2019agit en fait de scellant. La zone doit \u00e9galement \u00eatre tr\u00e8s bien nettoy\u00e9e avant l\u2019application. Ici l\u2019adh\u00e9sion est cr\u00e9\u00e9e par la puissante adh\u00e9sion de celui-ci \u00e0 la surface.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">R\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, l\u2019\u00e9paisseur de film sera d\u2019environ 1,0 mil dans les produits de refinition automobile. Photo Axalta<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><b>Donc, lequel choisir ?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il s\u2019agit souvent d\u2019une pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence et des besoins qui sont requis pour la r\u00e9paration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019appr\u00eat r\u00e9actif est \u00e9conomique, simple \u00e0 utiliser, offre une excellente adh\u00e9sion, une bonne protection anti-corrosion et un s\u00e9chage rapide.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En revanche, il est obligatoire de le recouvrir d\u2019un appr\u00eat ur\u00e9thane pour compl\u00e9ter la protection anti-corrosion et on ne peut peindre par-dessus ou appliquer du mastic ou de l\u2019appr\u00eat \u00e9poxyde. Pour prot\u00e9ger le m\u00e9tal, on utilise l\u2019un ou l\u2019autre, jamais les deux.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019appr\u00eat \u00e9poxyde est plus dispendieux et requiert dans certains cas un temps d\u2019induction. On doit donc attendre pendant une p\u00e9riode d\u00e9termin\u00e9e une fois qu\u2019il est m\u00e9lang\u00e9 avant de pouvoir l\u2019appliquer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il est \u00e9galement simple \u00e0 utiliser, offre une excellente adh\u00e9sion, une excellente protection anti-corrosion, mais le s\u00e9chage sera plus long.
