Aux \u00c9tats-Unis, la fr\u00e9quence des sinistres V\u00c9 a atteint 1,49 % au cours du trimestre (soit une augmentation de 0,36 % par rapport au 1er trimestre), tandis qu&rsquo;au Canada, elle est pass\u00e9e \u00e0 2,64 % (soit une augmentation de 0,23 %). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ces chiffres refl\u00e8tent le fait que les V\u00c9 sont de plus en plus pr\u00e9sents sur nos routes. Ce qui est int\u00e9ressant dans ces donn\u00e9es, c&rsquo;est que le nouveau pick-up \u00e0 batterie \u00e9lectrique de Ford, le F-150 Lightning, a \u00e9t\u00e9 un facteur notable de l&rsquo;augmentation de la fr\u00e9quence des sinistres li\u00e9s aux V\u00c9. Son volume a plus que doubl\u00e9 aux \u00c9tats-Unis par rapport au premier trimestre (passant de 1,25 % \u00e0 3,05 %). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Au Canada, ce qui est notable, c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;augmentation de la fr\u00e9quence des sinistres parmi les v\u00e9hicules Tesla. La part de march\u00e9 de Tesla dans le total des r\u00e9parations de V\u00c9 est pass\u00e9e de 67,87 % \u00e0 70,67 %. En outre, la berline Model S s&rsquo;est \u00e9galement hiss\u00e9e dans le top 5 des V\u00c9 les plus r\u00e9par\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Plusieurs facteurs<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Dans l&rsquo;ensemble, la fr\u00e9quence des sinistres V\u00c9 continue d&rsquo;\u00eatre plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e au Canada qu&rsquo;aux \u00c9tats-Unis \u00e0 l&rsquo;heure actuelle, et ce pour plusieurs raisons. Tout d&rsquo;abord, la Colombie-Britannique et le Qu\u00e9bec ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d&rsquo;ardents d\u00e9fenseurs de l&rsquo;adoption des V\u00c9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur importante production d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie hydro\u00e9lectrique qui r\u00e9duit les co\u00fbts de consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. En outre, par rapport aux \u00c9tats-Unis, le gouvernement du Canada adopte une position plus agressive \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9gard des V\u00c9 au niveau national, avec un plan visant \u00e0 \u00e9liminer progressivement les v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 moteur \u00e0 combustion interne (MCI) d&rsquo;ici 2035. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Si l&rsquo;on examine de plus pr\u00e8s les donn\u00e9es relatives \u00e0 la fr\u00e9quence des sinistres, on constate que les V\u00c9 ont tendance \u00e0 \u00eatre d\u00e9sign\u00e9s comme non-conduisibles \u00e0 une fr\u00e9quence inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle des v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 moteur \u00e0 combustion interne comparables. Il est toutefois important de comprendre que, dans l&rsquo;environnement actuel, les centres de collision ont tendance \u00e0 \u00e9viter les v\u00e9hicules qui ne peuvent pas \u00eatre conduits, parce qu&rsquo;en raison des ruptures de stock de pi\u00e8ces, le fait d&rsquo;avoir un v\u00e9hicule qui ne peut pas \u00eatre conduit dans l&rsquo;atelier r\u00e9duit la flexibilit\u00e9 lors de la programmation des r\u00e9parations. Pour les v\u00e9hicules qui peuvent encore \u00eatre conduits apr\u00e8s une collision, il y a toutefois plus de flexibilit\u00e9, puisque l&rsquo;atelier peut commander les pi\u00e8ces \u00e0 l&rsquo;avance et le client peut continuer \u00e0 conduire le v\u00e9hicule jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que ces pi\u00e8ces soient disponibles pour effectuer la r\u00e9paration. Dans l&rsquo;ensemble, cela repr\u00e9sente un grand avantage pour le centre de collision, car non seulement cela augmente la flexibilit\u00e9, mais cela permet aussi d&rsquo;offrir une exp\u00e9rience client plus coh\u00e9rente.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Non carrossable ou carrossable<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">En ce qui concerne plus particuli\u00e8rement les V\u00c9, le rapport montre qu&rsquo;au deuxi\u00e8me trimestre, seuls 10,31 % des V\u00c9 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 class\u00e9s comme non-conduisibles, contre 13,11 % des v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 moteur \u00e0 combustion interne. Certaines raisons sont li\u00e9es \u00e0 la conception et \u00e0 l&rsquo;ing\u00e9nierie. Par exemple, l&rsquo;absence relative de pi\u00e8ces mobiles signifie que le groupe motopropulseur essentiel d&rsquo;un V\u00c9 est moins susceptible d&rsquo;\u00eatre endommag\u00e9 \u00e0 la suite d&rsquo;une collision, m\u00eame si certaines fonctions ADAS et de connectivit\u00e9 sont plus susceptibles d&rsquo;\u00eatre impact\u00e9es. En ce qui concerne les collisions par l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re, les V\u00c9 sont plus susceptibles d&rsquo;\u00eatre rendus impraticables (10,87 %) que les v\u00e9hicules MCI (9,72 %) en raison de l&#8217;emplacement \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re des composants du groupe motopropulseur, tels que les moteurs \u00e9lectriques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">En ce qui concerne la gravit\u00e9 moyenne des r\u00e9parations, les V\u00c9 continuent d&rsquo;afficher une tendance globale plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e que les v\u00e9hicules MCI comparables (963 $ aux \u00c9tats-Unis et 1 328 $ au Canada). Si l&rsquo;on consid\u00e8re les marques de V\u00c9 en d\u00e9marrage comme Tesla, les disparit\u00e9s sont encore plus flagrantes, la diff\u00e9rence de co\u00fbt grimpant respectivement \u00e0 1 589 et 1 600 dollars. Les v\u00e9hicules Tesla et ceux d&rsquo;autres constructeurs automobiles en phase de d\u00e9marrage ont tendance \u00e0 utiliser des pi\u00e8ces structurelles plus grandes et monoblocs, avec de nombreux composants qui ne sont pas r\u00e9parables ou qui ne peuvent pas \u00eatre sectionn\u00e9s. En outre, la concentration de pi\u00e8ces l\u00e9g\u00e8res est plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e sur ces v\u00e9hicules, ce qui fait grimper les co\u00fbts de r\u00e9paration \u2013 non seulement le prix des pi\u00e8ces elles-m\u00eames, mais aussi la plus grande complexit\u00e9 des r\u00e9parations proprement dites. En outre, contrairement aux anciens FEO, il n&rsquo;existe pas de ressources importantes en pi\u00e8ces d\u00e9tach\u00e9es pour ces v\u00e9hicules, ce qui contribue \u00e0 augmenter le co\u00fbt global des r\u00e9parations. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Diminution de la fr\u00e9quence des pertes totales<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Alors que de nombreux m\u00e9dias grand public ont rapport\u00e9 que les V\u00c9 \u00e9taient plus souvent d\u00e9clar\u00e9s comme des v\u00e9hicules en perte totale par rapport \u00e0 leurs homologues MCI, les donn\u00e9es de Mitchell ne l&rsquo;indiquent pas. Lorsque nous examinons l&rsquo;analogue le plus proche disponible, les v\u00e9hicules de luxe de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e mod\u00e8le 2020 et plus r\u00e9cents, nous constatons que les V\u00c9 ont toujours une fr\u00e9quence de perte totale inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle des v\u00e9hicules MCI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Et en termes d&rsquo;\u00e9conomie pure, les V\u00c9 valent actuellement beaucoup plus que les v\u00e9hicules MCI, ce qui signifie qu&rsquo;en pourcentage, il y a plus de place pour les centres de collision pour les r\u00e9parer. De plus, \u00e0 mesure que le volume de V\u00c9 en circulation augmente, les magasins peuvent s&rsquo;attendre \u00e0 en voir de plus en plus arriver dans leurs locaux.
