Deux jours durant lesquels les meilleurs comp\u00e9titionnent pour monter au prochain niveau et ultimement peut-\u00eatre d\u00e9crocher une m\u00e9daille \u00e0 la comp\u00e9tition mondiale.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le poste qu\u2019on m\u2019a attribu\u00e9 pour la comp\u00e9tition \u00e9tait les probl\u00e8mes \u00e9lectriques. Ce que j\u2019ai pu constater lors de cette exp\u00e9rience est que souvent, on ne sait pas par o\u00f9 commencer quand nous avons \u00e0 r\u00e9parer un bris qui touche aux composantes \u00e9lectriques sur un v\u00e9hicule. Et quoi de mieux qu\u2019utiliser un probl\u00e8me qui nous a \u00e9t\u00e9 apport\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019atelier pour y faire un lien et m\u00eame donner un truc ou deux pour les prochains comp\u00e9titeurs et techniciens apprentis dans le domaine.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Sauter aux conclusions<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le v\u00e9hicule probl\u00e9matique : un Jeep Wrangler 2013 dont les essuie-glaces ne fonctionnent pas. Ce que j\u2019ai vu lors de la comp\u00e9tition, et ce que je vois souvent d\u2019autres techniciens, c\u2019est de sauter directement \u00e0 la composante et commencer \u00e0 faire des v\u00e9rifications, voir s\u2019il y a de l\u2019alimentation et de la masse quand on active ladite composante. Cette v\u00e9rification peut, dans certains cas, vous mener \u00e0 suivre une mauvaise piste, perdre du temps (et on sait tous que huit heures de travail par jour s&rsquo;\u00e9coulent souvent trop vite), et ultimement vers un mauvais diagnostic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Premier point \u00e0 apporter : Pourquoi d\u00e9brancher une composante pourrait ne pas \u00eatre recommand\u00e9 pour certains constructeurs ? C\u2019est tr\u00e8s simple. Certains constructeurs font une v\u00e9rification de l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 d\u2019un circuit avant d\u2019y envoyer de l\u2019alimentation, question de ne pas provoquer un court-circuit.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alors, la composante d\u00e9branch\u00e9e, on pourrait n\u2019y rien voir. Photo Prodemand<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><b>Le temps de comprendre<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans cette situation, pourquoi ne pas \u00e9tudier le circuit \u00e9lectrique de la composante qui ne fonctionne pas ? Cette v\u00e9rification va nous donner un tr\u00e8s important indice sur les prochaines \u00e9tapes qu\u2019on devrait suivre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Est-ce que la composante est aliment\u00e9e directement et contr\u00f4l\u00e9e par des interrupteurs, ou, est-elle contr\u00f4l\u00e9e par un module ? Elle est aliment\u00e9e directement ? Des v\u00e9rifications de circuit \u00e9lectrique de base devraient \u00eatre plus que suffisantes pour trouver la source du probl\u00e8me.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Elle est contr\u00f4l\u00e9e par un module ? La premi\u00e8re v\u00e9rification devrait \u00eatre faite avec un analyseur (scan tool) pour trouver possiblement un code d\u2019anomalie qui va nous mener \u00e0 une charte de diagnostic. Et m\u00eame s\u2019il n\u2019y a pas de code, \u00e0 partir du moment o\u00f9 on a un module impliqu\u00e9 dans l\u2019\u00e9quation, il est mieux de suivre une charte ou une proc\u00e9dure pour \u00e9viter des situations f\u00e2cheuses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans notre cas pr\u00e9cis, les essuie-glaces SONT contr\u00f4l\u00e9s par le TIPM (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Totally Intergrated Power Module<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), et nous avions le code B2304 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wiper Park Switch Low<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
